Chapter 1. Where We Begin

Hey, I'm Daria and I read tarot.

And books too.

I've always been drawn to symbols so that I found myself in both esoteric and linguistic. Being in process of self-discovering I realized the magic of words and got into special Tarot language.

I'm a word witch - I use words to perform my magic. I'm here to write my own story and help you create yours. Using divination, of course. Whether we meet each other in the beginning or in the end, I will willingly immerse in any chapter :)

My interests in esoteric

There are lots of things I want to study.

• Graphic magic

It amuses me because it's connected with words(my chosen type of magic) I'm planning to learn more about sigils and runes etc.

• Numerology

In my opinion, numbers can be pretty useful both in spiritual work and everyday life. I already know something of angel numbers :)

• Different types of divination

Love Tarot but want broaden my horizons :) Not sure what to start from...

• Spells and affirmations

I want to create my own word magic. I've figured out that words can really affect our lives and I wish I knew more.

• Ancestral magic

Bond with the ancestors is really important to me so I want to observe it.

I appreciate a new knowledge, but I also value what I have learnt already. And I enjoy to share my knowledge, my experience and skills bc they can help others.

The best way to get to know the Minor Tarot Arcanes is to tell a story with suits. To start from the Aces and finish with Tens, or vice versa, to go step by step revealing the meaning through images on cards.

Why a fortune-teller cannot be a storyteller?:)

So, once a writer created his first story about...

Ace of Cups - a true love that won the hearts...

2 of Cups - with a soft and uncomplicated love setting.

3 of Cups - The writer became popular and was warmly welcomed everywhere...

4 of Cups - but soon it all felt boring to him - he wanted something different...

5 of Cups - so that he felt the urge to break free from the romantic novelist ample.

6 of Cups - Still feeling nostalgic and grateful for the past...

7 of Cups - he knew that there were more things he could talk about.

8 of Cups - He left the past environment with the intention...

9 of Cups - ...to re-evaluate all his experience for the sake of embracing...

10 of Cups - ... his comfortable narration style that he subconsciously was always aware of.

The path of self-acceptance

So, one lady the writer was ...

10 of Cups - talented and successful author of fairy tales.

9 of Cups - What she desired the most was...

8 of Cups - ...to go for something that was unlike her genre.

7 of Cups - She dreamed of becoming known not only for the fairy tales...

6 of Cups - ...but for both meaningful and cozy stories...

5 of Cups -... for the ones who search for their roots and find their path.

4 of Cups - But soon she realized that her tales already were that for...

3 of Cups - ...many people who admired her and all these simple and magical stories she had created.

2 of Cups - With that knowledge, she finally could meet herself that she had never seen before.

Ace of Cups - It revived her natural talent and deepened her stories.

Let your magic shine!

There are plenty of ways to perform any type of magic.

Different sources provide us with useful tools, insightful meditations, short articles that help fulfill our lives with the miracle.

No doubt, they are really fascinating to use - I love them too!

Today I have a writing practice of magical self-determination. This is how I re-considered a lecture from Lida @pokartam available on CovenClub by @lisishhh :)

Besides I have made a spread dedicated to this - tag me if you've used it.

So, this practice will help you reflect on your spirituality in general, connect with your guides, get the epiphany regarding your spiritual strength. You can repeat this from time to time to get more clarity.

Friendly advice: Don't think for too long, because the right answer comes first. Write immediately what comes to your mind ;)

How to step into your own magic.

To begin with, write down intuitively what your 3 strengths are in your opinion. It could be either a high level of intuition or creativity or artistic skills or ability interpreting dreams. Anything that comes first to your mind is the key to your power.

The next 3 things you should come up with are the main tools that you feel drawn to use. They will definitely be helpful on your way and give a huge boost :)

For example, Tarot cards or runes could be the ones to get the answers, or a favorite candle might be the thing that makes you relaxed during your studies.

The next step is discovering your 3 places of power where you sense the reigniting your magic. Where was the last time you felt extremely powerful? Have you ever felt a special connection with a certain place? Where would you go to recharge? Write down what you first thought of!

And the last thing but not the least - 3 of your guides. Those who you get support from. Is this your mum, a pet or an ancestor, or an archangel? They are here to help and guide you in your own special way!

When you trust them, you trust yourself.

Chapter 2. All that glitter

What makes me shine

I finally started to focus on how it is going rather than on what it has turned into. In other words, I've realized the value of the process - the process of creation, studying, observing. Or doing nothing( ahhh, dolce far niente!)

Today there is the list of things expanding the glow in my chest~

learning languages

I have been learning 3 languages by now: English, Italian, Esperanto. The more - the better. I'm planning to start learning Czech and Spanish! I'm a native Russian speaker.

reading books

I'm a reader since my childhood. I'm a total Potterhead, love poems and novels, my favorite genre is a family saga.

photography

Keen on taking photos, especially landscapes.

drawing

Sometimes I love creating art, and my fav supplies are oil and soft pastels, watercolor, or color pencils.

writing

This hobby helped me step up in my word magic. Some books build my character, know that you are familiar with it :)

I'm also into traveling, history, and playing sims.
