ive come to find out I feel very passionately about everything, more than most people, so it pains me to see so much beauty in the world and none in myself or my work

emotions are gendered, emotions are colored, emotions are restricted for children or someone deep under the influence. regardless of how you feel about the statement, it's an idea that is present in the back of everyone's minds, engrained by a society that values not feeling and not loving above all else.

it was my birthday yesterday, the passing of time is getting quicker and I'm getting older every day with no way to stop it. yet, when I feel deeply upset about something, I feel like a child throwing a temper tantrum, even though I keep everything to myself
