Ribbons are the tabs at the top of your Excel Workbook. The Excel Ribbon has the following nine tabs: File, Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, Data, Review, View, and Help. By clicking on any of the tabs, you may access all of the commands and settings on that tab. Ribbons are frequently displayed in a condensed manner. When you click a tab, the ribbon expands. To keep the ribbon in extended mode, click on the pin on the far left of the ribbon.

This gives you access to all the important file-related commands, including those to make a new sheet, open a file, save it, print it, and export it.
