Info: Ruby was an historian with paranoiac tendencies. She might not have been paranoiac enough because as it turns out, letting yourself get willingly stuck in a cursed geode has consequences. With barely any memories of who she is, Ruby tries to navigate the world with what she has left: two promised and a name, that might not even be hers.

Info: An android made by two mad scientists to take care of children in the midst of an apocalypse. It will keep seeking for its children to keep them safe in this new, weird world.
Origin: Android. Created to be a caretaker, somehow managed to create a true consciousness in the confines of a humanoid shape. Due to unforeseen events, some features were permanently disabled, while others function in an altered capacity.

Manfred had never quite managed to forget the smiles on their faces as his family passed, just a few meters away from him.
Smiles with no cruelty to them.
Smiles of joy, of victory.
The smiles of people who’d come home to their own partners and kids
Manfred needed to be alone.
He needed his family back.
He needed to either go back in time, back when his biggest worry was his kid being too grown up for him to carry it with his trunk, or to die here, and leave his bones amongst the rocks, amongst the blood, a grave with no one to visit it but a reminder of the three of them regardless.
"I could stay here.
"Stay here for the winter."
And Manfred let the snow fall around him.
Or, elephants (and most likely mammoths too) have an habit of visiting each other's remains.
