Guido Van Helten – Wall to Wall Festival, Benalla VIC

Guido Van Helten had to wait for the flavour shot of his piece at ‘Wall to Wall’ Festival in Benalla, Victoria over the weekend. We’re glad he did! The work was created along with a photography project with the CFA (Country Fire Authority) Volunteers in the surrounding three districts of Taminick, Chesney vale and Winton who use and operate this isolated water tank.

Here is the finished piece entitled ‘Broederschap’ from the ‘Desperation Burns’ exhibit in North East Minneapolis.‘Broederschap’ is 8' X 12', mixed media on masonite, which is a collaborative work between John Dyer Baizley and Marald Van Haasteren.

John Dyer Baizley (Philadelphia) brings longtime friend Marald van Haasteren (Leiden, The Netherlands) for his first US exhibit after their relentless collaborative work on the images and packaging artwork for Baizley's rock group Baroness’ highly anticipated new album ‘Purple’. ‘Desperation Burns’ will focus largely on the artwork the two created for ‘Purple’ and will also feature brand new paintings as well as limited edition screenprinted art prints produced by Minneapolis creative studio Burlesque of North America.
