Mourning you

Today I felt my heart mourn you. Although still breathing and very much here on this earth. The person that stood in front of me this evening baffled me. This is who you've become, listen, do you hear what you are saying to me? Step back and look at the scene you have created. Look at my face, hear my cry, touch my chest and feel my racing but sinking heart. Do you see it now? I realized the person I once knew is no longer with us today. So I mourn you and like all living beings do, I will respect the dead. I wish you the best of luck on whatever journey it is you take next.

Sometimes we have to start completely over. Some of us had to do this more than once. But when you find that person who makes all the curvy roads you took in life seem so worth it and you would do it all over again just to be lead back to them ❤ I love those reminders
