You sharing my work kinda made me realize why I like Varrè so much: he’s kinda literally Lucien Lachance, who was my first fantasy game love. Just wanted to share.

Lucien's my first fantasy-genre love, too, and Varré had barely given his opening lines when the parallels started hitting me. Then we get his unmasked face? Absolutely sold. It's like Lucien died in Tamriel and was reincarnated into the Lands Between lol. The first time I wrote Varré, I thought, "Huh, he really is Lucien with a mask and a white smock."

Fromsoft knew what we simps needed.

I always talk about the drabbles I’m writing but never post any of them, but ANYWAY… in 4E 206 Kajo and Cicero visit the old Bruma Sanctuary and Cicero gets a bit emotional when seeing his old home and remembering his first DB family that is now long gone. 

Kajo tells him it’s okay to be sad still, even after so many years, and together they build a small memorial in the Sanctuary for his departed dark siblings.
