Draw for RDC7 Goodies & Primavera Goodies from Florence! The draw will take place on 9th August 2025. So how to enter?
1 - RDC7 Goodies (for those who couldn’t make it to RDC)
Signed Hannibal poster (all Hannibal guests at RDC7)
Signed Hugh 8x10” print
Personalised Con card & Visitor Passes Pack (Screen accurate visitor badge recreations) (x8)
2 - Florence Prizes (for those who couldn’t join us in Florence)
Primavera Notebook (lined) + Pencil, Plastic print, from the Uffizi Gallery, #FannibalsinFlorence card (x2)
Primavera Greeting Card (blank) + Pencil, from the Uffizi Gallery, #FannibalsinFlorence card (x3)
Primavera Postcard, from the Uffizi Gallery, #FannibalsinFlorence card (x5)
So there are 20 prizes total!
You can enter up to 10 times into the draw (to increase your chances but it’s totally not necessary!). Post a public tweet/message/comment telling another fan why you love their work! You can recommend any piece of fan made Hannibal media (fic/art/other), and let other fans know why we should check it out. Share a link to the message in the form. You will need to select which prize pool you’re interested in (RDC7 or Florence or both prize pools). Priority for RDC prizes for those that couldn’t/can’t make it to RDC please! Note that I’ll be doing con cards for RDC8 again, so it’s a better prize for someone who can’t make it.
So, in detail, how to enter:
Post a Tweet or post (or a whole thread!) - Twitter, Bluesky,Tumblr, wherever strikes your fancy- telling another Fannibal why you love their work (and by work I mean whatever they bring to the fandom - fic, art, jokes, good vibes)! You can recommend a specific fic/piece of art or just let another Fannibal know why you’re a fan of theirs. It can be fic/art/their mere presence, or something else, new or old, well known or obscure (the latter is fun!), as long as it’s made by a Fannibal and about the show. Include #FannibalsLoveYourWork
Or Comment on Ao3 for a fic you love telling the author why you love it!
Or if the above doesn’t float your boat? You can post anywhere as long as you can share a screenshot somewhere publicly (ie a Discord that allows the sharing of screenshots outside) and the recipient can see/appreciate your praise! You can even post a screenshot to a google drive link or similar. As long as you’re fulfilling the spirit of the ask (sharing love to a Fannibal!), it’s fine.
Copy the link to the message and fill out this form with the information required to submit an entry.
Rules (the boring bit):
You can enter up to 10 times but each entry must be a separate rec/comment to a different piece of fan media or different creator. Any additional entries or duplicates won’t go in the draw. That said, spread the love and comment/rec as much as you’d like!
It will be one prize per person.
Comments/posts should be dated during the entry window (ie please write a new comment/bit of flailing)
This is for Hannibal fan media only. It’s all wonderful but this is to celebrate Hannibal, the media it’s inspired, and Fannibals.
The draw will take place on 9th August 2025.
I will cover standard shipping but parcels may have customs/fees applied by your local authorities (all parcels will be coming from within the EU). Covering any such fees is your own responsibility. Once they’re in the post, I have no further responsibility.
This is open to any Fannibal out there but I do reserve the right to exclude entries if necessary. Please be kind to one another, we eat the rude around here!
“FANNIBAL GIVEAWAY! One copy of Radiance: A Fannibal Anthology! Posting worldwide. RT this tweet to enter before 11:59pm 30/11/18. Winner will be chosen at random.”
There are a number of ways to make a suitable image for a plastic con card. Below I’ve put a step by step guide in GIMP (a free image editing tool. You can download it here). I’ve also included a link to some assets that can be used in creating a con card. Please note that if you use some of the provided templates as-is, your card won’t be as unique as it could be! The fun is when everyone has their own unique card.
Below the cut you’ll find:
a step by step “for dummies” tutorial in GIMP (this is only 1 way to do it, there’s no “right” or “wrong” way as long as the final dimensions are correct!
links to some templates and other image assets
an email address you can send pictures and text to for help. There are a few people who have offered to handle these types of requests - if you’d also like to help, please let me know! If you’re asking for help, please keep your requests simple!
How to Create a con card image using GIMP (the simple step by step way):
Download and Install GIMP (if you haven’t already done so!)
Find the background image you want to use. The easiest way to find an image that is a suitable size is to use google image search. Click tools and select “larger than > 640x480″. Download your image (make sure it’s something like a screenshot from the show or publicly accessible photos - please don’t use someone else’s fanart or manips without permission!)
3. Open GIMP
4. Click File>New
5. Set your image size to 506 x 319 px OR 319 x 506 px (depending on whether you want your image “horizontal” or “vertical”. (Don’t worry about the ppi - as long as your image is at least these dimensions, the resolution should be okay in the final print!).
6. Open your image in your GIMP file (File > Open as Layers).
7. Your image will likely be too big for your canvas so you can’t see all of it, but there will be a yellow line around where the edges are:
8. Use the move tool
to move your image so that one of the corners lines up with your canvas (the visible area of the image:
9. Use the scale tool
to scale your image to fit. You should hold down shift while you click and drag with the tool to prevent your image from warping:
10. Use a combination of the move and scale tool to get your image positioned how you want it to appear.
11. Once your happy, open the text tool
and draw a text box on your image where you want your text to appear. Type in your text.
12. Use the settings on the text window to change the font, size, and colour of your text so that it appears clearly. If you want to have some text in a different size, you will need to put that in a separate text window. You can also grab the text box itself to move all of the text around the image.
13. When you’re happy with your image, go to File > Export. Give your file a name ending it with .png
14. Attach the file you just exported to an email and sent it to [email protected]
Here is a folder with some templates that you can add text to. The images are already in the correct size/dimensions.
If you’re really stuck and need help, you can send simple editing requests to [email protected] where some lovely people are offering to help those who are really stuck. Your best bet is to pick a photo, and send it in along with what text you want on it.
For Fannibal Fest Toronto, I printed a small number of plastic cards with preferred names, twitter/tumblr, and preferred pronouns, for friends to hang on their lanyards. They were just a few extra cards that I had so it was only a few but they were a big hit! So...for RDC5, I will be offering to print more. I will print up to 200 cards on a first come, first served basis. Here is what you need to do:
1) Create your image!
Create an image of dimensions 3.375 x 2.125 inches with a dpi of at least 150 (this includes some bleed, so assume some will be lost around the edges!). This is 506 x 319 pixels. The image can be laid out vertical (hanging from the short edge) or horizontal (hanging from the long edge). I won’t be punching them but will be bringing a slot punch for people to use when they pick them up.
Make sure your image is laid out in such a way that you can punch a slot in it without losing anything important!
You could include things like the name you’d like people to call you, the user name(s) people may know you by, your preferred pronouns, or even your icon if it’s specific and people might recognise it!
3) You’re actually including info in the image (I won’t print just photos/images with no text)
4) You have the permission from the artist in the case of fanart
Edit to add:
I do not have the capacity to do image editing for people, not with 200 to print (that’s a lot of labour as is!). If you send me just an image with nothing on it/or not the right dimensions, it will not be printed. If you need help, please ask someone in the fandom. There are many people with basic PhotoShop or gimp skills! I will put together a step by step Gimp tutorial for setting an image to the right size and adding text. I will email anyone back whose image is unusable to give the a chance to fix it prior to January!
There’s a new detailed post HERE with step by step guide, links to assets, and ways to get help with editing!
We are so excited to announce one of the MOST POPULAR stops on last year’s FANNIBALFEST BUS TOUR…the private home used as shoot site:
WILL GRAHAM’S “WOLF TRAP” FARMHOUSE
This wonderfully sweet homeowner tells stories of what it was like working with the crew, meeting the cast and lending their home for the show. We are given complete access to the rooms in this lovely little farmhouse and to the barn out back where this scene was shot:
Don’t miss your chance to visit!! If you are a Fannibal, you want to be on this bus tour.
So that’s 2 sites listed so far… MindWarpFx Studios and Will’s Wolf Trap Farmhouse …Honestly, what are you waiting for?
So finally Mads’ autograph is in my art book! Since the tweet (https://twitter.com/sugarmaus/status/1003187838089875457?s=19) has been popular, I want to share the story of my time with Mads at BFCC!
So I arrived on the Saturday and due to the building and waning of the queue, it was quiet so I went for it. I had been planning on getting Hugh, Mads and Bryan to all sign the first page in my limited edition art book but Hugh at RDC3 who was first up, did the full page (right in the photo). I loved it though! Made a quick rearrangement and had Bryan sign the back of that page and planned for Mads to sign the inside cover.
So back to BFCC - I put the book in front of him and he immediately was looking at Hugh’s page. I said that it was Hugh and I would love for him to take the other side. He was sitting there thinking for a bit before he started writing “No Sarah” (I spelled my name for him haha) and then he paused to draw the arrow and kept writing. He even paused at the second L in actually! He was grinning then and said “See? Because I drugged him! It’s really my design.” (I love so much when Mads talks about Hannibal in the first person.)
He finished before going back to write “Hannibal” and underlining it (probably to fill the extra space!
Anyway, I loved that he made it a little joke and I think the whole double spread looks AMAZING! He was so pleased with himself on the whole thing.
As a bonus - I gave him a whiskey giftset of Writers Tears (telling him that even though he isn’t a whiskey drinker, I had to get it for him since his work has inspired a lot of them!). He found it very amusing and I think he thought it actually was a book because he was surprised when he opened it and there were 3 little bottles of whiskey inside! Delicious whiskey in beautiful packaging.
With a lot of joy we present our contributors for RAVAGE, coming in spring 2019.
Traverse Dante’s Inferno with us and explore Hannibal Lecter within the circles of HELL. Explore the man behind the mask and the demon behind the veil. Follow the beating of wings and the screams of the sinners!
114 artists and writers will illuminate the Inferno & HELL for us.
We have assigned an equal amount of artists and writers to the circles - as many as we possibly could, having to let go many an incredibly talented signed up artist or writer in the process (with a very heavy heart). RL being what it is we might see some of these signed up again, as pinch hitters, who knows. We will see.
We have prepared a small collage with previous works from the featured artists for you - please flail with us and scream and anticipate the sheer beauty they will create, side by side with the vivid stories and brilliant tales of our writers!!!
(big version)
(Please not that the size differences only happen due to the uneven number of artists (57) - they do not in fact have any other significance!)
Please - if you will, give this a boost, spread the word - we cannot wait to see what RAVAGE will become!!!
And now (in no particular order) - here are the artists and writers with their tags - go check them out!
Hello! I'm so late jumping on this train, but I adore your fic "A Knack for Monsters." Oh my goodness it was heavenly to read, and I'm slowly working my way through the rest of your fics. Thank you for writing for the fandom! It is so enjoyable to read your work!
You have no idea how much this means to me <3 thank you. AKfM has such a special place in my heart. It was my first long fic for the fandom and it was so easy to write because it was a story I felt so passionately about sharing.
A lot of the time, fics just get forgotten. People do read, the hits occasionally go up, but no one ever says anything. To know that you enjoyed it does mean a lot and to know that you’re reading the rest of my work is amazing! I’m getting back into writing properly after a long dry spell.
I’m still firmly in the Hannibal fandom and it’s the only thing I want to write for. Thank you so much!
And for anyone reading someone’s “old” fic - don’t ever feel bad about hitting that kudos/comment/reblog button. You are never too late to enjoy it and share that with the author. You will really make someone’s day! You could inspire someone to write who hasn’t in a while or even tempt them back to your favourite fandom.

@sugarmaus Hi Sarah!! Happy Hannibal Holidays!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a healthy, happy New Year. Sorry this is so late. Enjoy! :))
@hannibalholiday Thank you again for this lovely exchange.
SALE of remaining copies, printed and digital - and some news🙃
Alright, the replacement copies have reached their respective owners and so we will now put up the remaining printed copies on Etsy so you can buy them as you want!!
Please note that this is a pretty heavy book (2kg), so international shipping is expensive. Each printed copy comes with the digital goodies, just as the original Kickstarter tiers did.
We know, we always said we didn’t plan to do it, but we were asked almost on a daily basis if there wasn’t a way to at least buy the PDF version of Radiance since a second edition of the printed book was (and definitely is!!) out of question.
So, we caved eventually due to popular demand and will put a PDF download version of Radiance on our Etsy store alongside the remaining few printed copies. Also, we’re putting up the slightly damaged books for a drastically reduced price (with photos of course), check them out if you want to.
Please note that we are still strictly non-profit and all the earnings will be donated. Two charities we’ve chosen are Amnesty International and the Rainbow railroad, for probably obvious reasons.
We have also decided to give a part of the proceeds to the @fannibalfest-toronto so it will stay in a project that will benefit Fannibals directly in the future.
The remaining funds from the Kickstarter will also be distributed accordingly, we’ll split whatever’s left after RDC4 (we’ll do the totaling then) to these choices.
As a side note - we have decided that we will do another anthology, a Hannibal centered anthology called RAVAGE to complete the Trilogy of Fannibal anthologies :)
We will rename this blog and set up everything without the time pressure this time.
Details will follow.
We hope you will all stay here and create another book with us!
We have said that we probably won’t do an anthology for this fandom again, especially after… some of what happened during Radiance. And it’s true. We won’t do the same thing again.
This - this sister project - was planned almost from the start. We mulled over the blog name long before the Kickstarter for Radiance and now, without stepping on another anthology’s proverbial toes, we decided to go ahead and plan it.
We have proven we can do it (see “RADIANCE”).
We will, eventually, post about how and why and when. Until then, you can reach us via [email protected] or sign up (non-commital) here (There will be another book, yay 😬☺️)
Alright then :) Good luck getting your copy!!!
–> Link to our Etsy store!! <–
PS: If you don’t get a copy, we will give away two books that were given to us for this purpose from contributors in a few days!!
Tagging those that have asked to be tagged on here:
We are absolutely THRILLED & beyond HAPPY to present to you first impressions of our baby, the product of 8 months of wonderful & challenging collaboration, our shared labour of Fannibal love, our…
"Just...come already,” groans Will, fighting to keep his wavering stamina. He feels the slight squeeze of Hannibal’s fingers, his acknowledgement of Will’s words and Will feels Hannibal’s hips rise up to meet him, the noise of their flesh meeting amplified by the sudden increase in power.
It may be a long shot but…. I REALLY hope that the @radiance-anthology can reach the stretch goal for the red edges!!! So I wanted to do something to help promote the kickstarter!! Especially since I came to the fandom too late to contribute to the actual book. So here is to three seasons of Will covered in blood, and hopefully to a fourth!! ;)
