Her breath blew through his skeleton like the a tree that’s had its leaves abducted by the wind. Her love was lost in the symphony of his heart and her Fingers like violin strings, strung too tight to muster a sound. The weight of his burden turned her into a graveyard, losing her smile in the concert of his walk until all that’s left are bones because words... words get too heavy to sit on the ivory pedestals that we’ve built inside of our mouths. Our actions, they join hands and they become behaviors that are too complicated for lips to say out loud, so instead, we just liberate our flesh letting skin speak on our behalf Until there’s nothing left.
