You couldnât bring yourself to say anything about it but you noticed. Your boyfriend of a year started to take down any photos he posted of the two of you off of his Instagram and Facebook. He changed his status to single on Facebook and on multiple occasions when you asked, he made sure everytime to tell youâitâs not a big deal babe, just social media.â. That excuse always angered you. If it wasnât a big deal, why remove any pictures and change his status in the first place? Itâs almost like someone else has his attention. Itâs a good thing you both had separate apartments, you needed your space.
You were quiet at work, it was always unusual for you to be quiet while you worked. You communicated with your team, but you didnât feel like laughing at jokes or updating anyone on your life at the moment. Buck could always tell when you were upset, it was literally a super power of his.. among other nice things. He stared at you while you zoned out on the drive back to the station. Your recent rescue with Buck got a lot of media attention, and typically your boyfriend would text you and tell you how amazing you are but not today. If youâre being real honest youâve been actively avoiding him for the past two months since his odd behavior started. It wasnât the first time heâd done something questionable, but letâs just say his actions gave you the green light to do things you normally wouldnât do.
You were all cleaned up, then you decided to clean out the fridge for everyone in the unit so they could have space for their food. Your headphones were so loud, Buck could hear the lyrics six feet away from you. He grabbed your phone, pausing your music.
âHeyâ I was listening to that.â You raised an eyebrow at him.
âYour apartment. Twenty minutes.â He said sternly.
âJeez okay Dad.â You rolled your eyes playfully and finished cleaning the fridge before making it to your apartment.
You and Buck made it up to your apartment, locking the door behind you. Buck wasted no time pushing you against the door, kissing you while removing his own clothes and kicking his shoes off. You followed suit and he picked you up, the both of you clad in your undergarments. Buck went down on you, licking and slurping to his heartâs content. Your moans giving him the energy to suck on your swollen bud just the way you loved it.
âThis is about you, scoot back.â He said getting on top of you.
Buck entered your tight hole, kissing and biting your neck as he thrusted deeply inside you. He held your hands above your head as he kissed you and nipped at your nipples. That sensitive feeling in your stomach was forming so quickly it became embarassing.
âPlease tell me youâre about to cum baby, Iâm so close.â He whined.
âY-yes Evan please!â You cried out.
The both of you finished. You lied your head on his chest as you both cuddled naked. This was one of those things that was given the green light by your boyfriendâs actions. Sleeping with the guy who you said he didnât have to worry about. You and Buck had been sleeping together since your boyfriend started to act weird. Boy were you glad you had your own place.
âHey, donât think this is over, we still have to talk about your day. Why were you so quiet Princess?â Buck asked.
âDerek took all our pictures down and heâs posing as a single man. He says itâs âno big dealâ but it made me feel like I was being hiddenâ like heâs embarassed of being in a relationship with me or that someone else has his attention.â You sighed.
âWell when you guys fix thingsââ
âNo Iâm done. Iâm gonna break up with him. Weâve already been messing around behind his back far too long based off my intuition. What if I was wrong? Iâd have to end it anyways.â You admitted.
âTrust your intuition. Guys donât just randomly delete pictures with their girlfriends one day and call it no big deal.â He said.
âWhen was the last time you had sex?â He asked rubbing his head in the crook of your neck.
âWhen was the last time you and I did this again? I havenât had sex with Derek since heâs been acting this way.â You half smiled.
âLet me go get our clothes.â He smiled.
Buck made it back in the room, the two of you took a steaming hot shower before getting into some cozy clothes. You made the bed back up and put on a movie allowing you both got comfy on the couch.
âI ordered pizzaâ Buck said kissing your forehead.
There was a knock at the door. It was Derek.
You looked back at Buck.
He knew what that meant. Derek was here.. Buck went to the bathroom. It was time to act like a guest.
You opened the door for Derek.
âHey babe. You havenât returned any of my texts in the last few minutes. I saw Buckâs car. He in the neighborhood ?â He asked.
âHeâs actually using the bathroom, we were just talking about work.â You lied through your teeth.
âYou know how I feel about Buck. Why is he here?â Derek challenged you.
âItâs not a big deal Derek. I told you we were talking about work. This is how we de-stress.â You threw his own words back in his face.
âRight.. when was the last time you guys actually had a hard job?â Derek asked.
âDid you watch the news today? Because Buck and I did a pretty big rescue at the fair earlier. It was rough but we didnât have any casualties. Besides anytime I try to talk to you about my day, youâre always on your damn phone deleting pictures of us anyway.â You shooed him away.
âY/n. I swear to god. I donât want to hear about the stupid pictures again. Why do you keep bringing it up?â He argued.
You sighed. Buck walked into the living room where you and Derek continued your standoff.
âAnd why is he here? I swear I asked like three times already. Itâs late anyways. You know I donât like it when you guys are alone together.â He complained more.
âJust get out Derek. Youâve got some nerve coming to my apartment and telling me what to do and how to feel. This is why Iâm not ready to move in with you. Youâre hiding me and I donât want to be with someone who only has room to tell me what to do with my life.â You sighed walking away.
âIâve been seeing someone.â Derek blurted out.
You turned around, looking at Buck whoâs wide eyes were already staring back at you.
âIt started over coffee when she first started at my job, we continued it, thatâs when I felt more invested in her than ever. I took down our photos, I started talking to her more and she has all this time to just listen and be around me. Her job isnât too demanding.. y/n I havenât been here all the way and I think you should know youâre too much to keep up with. Youâre not really the brightest of the bunch either. Youâre way too high maintenance and I can never understand the relationship you have with your co-workers. I leave work at the door when I come home to you.â He vented.
Buck started to get visibly irritated.
âYou wanna talk about being high maintenance Derek? All she has ever done in your relationship is be there for you and drop everything. Weâre not demanding anything from her at work, but you? God youâre a piece of work. Not letting her have her moment on a rescue, always showing up to tell her to do laundry or cook, never letting her come to work parties. Y/n is a very determined woman, you donât know her like we do at the station. Sheâs brilliant. Smart, kind, she canât leave work at the door when work is her family. You canât make a family with someone who never wants you to be great. You donât leave work at the door either Derek, youâre taking a co-worker out on dates.â Buck argued.
you sighed.
Derek was quiet.
âYou know.. what Iâm about to say wonât fix anything but it will feel a hell of a lot better getting it off my chest.â You took a deep breath.
âWhen you started taking your coworker out and deleting our pictures I had a hunch. You never let me talk to you about it so I did something you didnât like in return. I spoke to Buck and Athena about it. Then I started watching as you hid your phone whenever I walked into a room. I talked to Buck about it more and more everyday and then one day I just felt like youâd been a little too cold towards me. I went out with Buck and Eddie and we partiedâ then I slept with him. I slept with Buck and weâve been sleeping together and having sleepovers at my place every other weekend if weâre not at his. If I was too much for you, Iâm glad you found less.â You breathed.
Derek looked between you and Buck.
âYouâre crazy.â Derek said. His expression looked disgusted.
âYouâre on the same boat Derek. You cheated on me the minute you took our pictures down to chase after your coworker. I just did the same in return.â You shrugged.
âHeâs not gonna love you like I haveâ youâre never gonna find someone like me.â He said enraged.
âThatâs the point Derek. Buck loves me better and treats me better. Get out.â You sighed.
Derek was enraged. He grabbed his coat and slammed your door, leaving what the two of you had behind.
âWell.. now that thatâs over with.â You scratched your neck embarassed
âThat was good. That could only have went two ways.â Buck laughed.
âWhat?â You asked
âWonderfully right or horribly wrong. I think it went right.â He chuckled as he embraced you.
âYouâre right. Iâm glad youâve been here to help. Wanna go on that movie date tomorrow?â You asked.
âYeah.. until then I was hoping we could continue more of what we were doing earlier.â He smirked slyly.
