THIS IS YOUR TAROT MESSAGE
“A call for mindful verbal communication, whether this communication is with yourself, between friends or on a larger platform”
Understanding the true power of your words
Your words are powerful and influential but how wisely are you using them; are using your voice to enrich your life and the lives of others or is their little thought of the impact your words have once they leave the mouth?
Ace of Swords
The ace of swords brings with it today a call for mindful verbal communication, whether this communication is with yourself, between friends or on a larger platform. How intentional are you when it comes to verbal exchange?
Words have energy. Take a moment to think about the last conversation you had, whether it was with strangers or loved ones, how would you describe the energy you brought to this interaction?
“Think over the last conversation you had with yourself, how would you describe that interaction? Use this moment of reflection as an exercise of awareness - not judgment.”
Difficult conversations and emotional dumping
This is not to say that we should be avoiding difficult conversations, but this is to say that we should have them mindfully and with compassion. Allow yourself the ability to navigate your interactions with awareness; we genuinely have no idea what even our best friends are going through at any given moment.
Exercising mindfulness in these situations could look like giving a friend a heads up before offloading that awful interaction you just had or asking your sibling whether they are in a place to receive before sharing why you’ve been feeling drained lately. Emotional dumping is a thing, babes. To be clear, we are not referring to one-off moments of sharing challenging experiences. The question here is; how often? Is this a recurring theme in your relationships?
At some time or another, we have all been the emotional dumper or the emotional dumpee. However, this does not have to be the theme of our relationships. Take this reminder to experience those closest to you in a more holistic way.
