Cats. My cat is very smart and literally makes me eat, drink, shower, and wakes me from PTSD nightmares (even though I don't remember them, she hears my pain and wakes me with cuddles), she also wakes me when my snoring is bad. Her shenanigans light up my world, small as it is.

That the world around us is beautiful. I live in a weird ugly part of a weird ugly state but if I look I still see all kinds of plants and birds and frogs and cats just near my home. I can have the worst day of my life and still find something beautiful to see outside.
