Instagram has benefited society in many ways as along with Facebook ,instagram is that platform on social media that everyone usually has .Popular among variety of people of all ages ,older or younger ,instagram has a way of connecting people through its posts.As:

 It influences people : with so many influential people posting their routines or habits on instagram ,could led to believe that you could also be like. them .Also ,it’s maintain your motivation so that you not slip in just a short period of time .It helps to keep you going with your plan .

It creates connection : Nowadays we live in a society where connections are pretty much everything.Without connections, we can’t really do anything to progress in life. Connections give us friends. Connections give us business partners.connections ensure that we don’t progress alone in life and that we have all the relationships that we need to end up being successful.

It helps people hone skills :Nowadays people are concerned about finding the perfect lightning for perfect picture.They hone their photography skills until they have. perfect picture to post. It diversified the beauty standards : Before instagram and social media came into the mix,The beauty standard was pretty universal:fit people with clear skins,Looking perfect as far as the social standard concerned .

It turned us into travels:Certain travel trends in society are caused by Instagram posts – with people wanting to recreate certain pictures. For instance, if people saw a certain person pose in a particular spot on Instagram, they might want to book a flight there and see that place by themselves.

I don't think it's just photos. There's a reason we don't allow you to upload photos on the Web as albums. Social media is relatively new experience for humans.A new report which was published by royal society for public health states that effects of social media on young people mental health .After surveying almost 1,500 people between the ages of 14-24 in which different social media platforms impact mental health issues ,including anxiety ,depression,Sleep deprivations and body- image.

In terms of negative effects on young people mental health .The photo image sharing app negatively impacts body image and sleep that disrupts their personal lives ,their friends interaction and they get addicted using it in which it increases bullying and fear of missing out which leads to greater feeling of anxiety, depression and loneliness in the society .

Intended consequences of the instagram

The intended effects of using instagram in which it gives positive outcomes to people as include self expression where people can express their feelings to the world ,where they can showcase  their talent to the world For example :people who belong to poor country or side it is a good platform where it helps people with their upcoming talent ,Self identity where they can express themselves on the platform of Instagram .,Community bulilding ,and emotional support .It helps to make real world relationships and helps to get awareness .

Instagram was invented by Kevin Systrom and mike Krieger (co-founder )of instagram .By the time it was invented to share photos .coffe photos,Dog photos, bathroom mirror photos! Everyday life photos.Finally after months of trying Twenty-five thousand users showed up on the first day ! After that ,it was growing itself.

Instagram nailed the timing and hit one million users in three months !

Then it became 2 million ,which later became ten million users ! and it was all growth without any advertisements .

It was designed to capitalise on the improving technology crossover between smartphones and photography .With the advancements and improving technologies year on year new mobile devices focus on their built in camera functions as a key selling point,Mostly due to the increasing photo and short video led world of social sharing .
