Thanks Jimmy Juice for bringing green juice to Starbucks! So handy when on the road. We love you!
The Unspoken Magic
The unspoken magic is that quiet place within that has no voice. It is an essence.
It's the sound of a gentle stream touching your eardrum. It's your hair brushing against your face as you are kissed by the wind. It's your reflection in the sunlight of the river. It's a kiss from your lover on your collarbone. Its the invisible magic that permeates your breath and every cell of your being.
I live a magical life and yet I know there is more. I know more is possible. I have always known that a life of feeling that Union with creation was possible. I remember an instance when I was about 9 and I was trying to explain to my father when he spoke of one needing extreme luck to make it in music and I use to respond with "there is no such thing as luck, one creates their luck". But beyond that I could not explain it. Then I heard Reverend Michael refer to it as "living under cosmic knowledge" and everything made sense. There is a place in me that seeks a deeper experience of this Soul being in this body. Like Jesus said " heaven is on earth, heaven is in you." I know that place to exist for I have touched it and have sometimes lived there......I long to go even deeper into that space in 2014. Here we are looking back onto 2013 and about to enter another year.
How are you feeling about this year? What did you break through? What are you willing to give up in 2014 in order to receive what you LONG for? These are the kind of questions that I am asking myself as I take some time to be with family and nurture my little teething 18 months old who is now talking! So fun, most of the time she will say the word in French and then English, its amazing. Like 'bird", but sounds more like "bourred" then she goes in French, "Oiseau"....so so cute, it really does not get any cuter. These are precious times and we are fully present. Feels good...
My life is filled with that Unspoken Magic and sometimes I tune into it....and I am learning that it is a state of mind and takes constant presence on my part in order to tap into that stream of Unspoken Magic. It is all around us. All the time. It is a frequency that we choose. Even when I do not feel like I am vibrating in that frequency and everything about the day is pissing me off, I have access to that place. Through a deep breath, a moment of silence, a walk in nature, a chant, laughter. The fabric that weaves all of who we are is made of it. When I am feeling it in my bones, I have a sweet smile on my face and ALL is well. For in the present moment, all is well. That is where I choose to be, for the past is done and the future is not even here yet.....and I keep praying and chanting...here I am Universe, in this moment, show me your magic....
Be good to yourself, be focused, be love, be yourself and tap into the infinite source of love that permeates everything. It is so worth THAT journey and everything one needs to give into to receive that gift. The happiest of days to you, Amour, Sukhdev "The Illuminated Woman" Workshop - Topanga | January 20th - February 24th, 2013

The Illuminated Woman
Here are some definitions of Illuminated:
1. to enlighten spiritually or intellectually 2. to supply or brighten with light 3. to make luminous or shining 4. to set alight
So I wonder, how will I keep this mind of mine Illuminated? One of the ways is to serve and to teach, I resonate deeply with this quote Yogi Bhajan said,
"If you want to master something, teach it."
How very right he was. That is why I am inspired to share what has helped soothe this heart of mine. I like to call it sharing rather than teaching. My intention is to share what has helped me on this path of healing and re-membering my authentic Self. I believe that is what Spirituality is, living from your Original Self. My journey began a good ten years ago and led me to these inspirational teachings that I have gathered from some different paths I was guided to and very much influenced by Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
The Illuminated Woman was born out of the Power Of A Woman workshop series that I have been teaching every year since 2009. I am so fascinated by this work with women and how we can source from our inner power and live balanced, joyful, purpose filled lives. Women have been cut off from all that is true to them for a long time and it is time to reclaim that creative power. Watching all the women in my family loose their lives because they lost the connection to their Soul and had no tools to stand in their power, has inspired me tremendously to break the chains of my lineage's destiny and create a new path for my daughter and I and all the woman to follow. I am deeply called into this work, from the root of the Mother. Literally.
Something quite magical happens when we gather in sacred circle, sing songs, share our stories, dance, do yoga, meditate, pray, laugh and cry together. It was what our ancestors use to do. We are now living in a time where we need these tools in order to re-member what has been lost within us, we are called to come back to that place of power in the Aquarian Age. Now is the time. For it is said that when women regain their power, men will align and there will be peace on the planet once again. The woman sets the vibrational tone in the household, when she is joyous and thrives, so are her children and her beloved one. Let these pearls of wisdom sink in.....
So I offer with all my heart this vibrant workshop, The Illuminated Woman.
Here are some of the different aspects that we will dive into and uncover as we blossom into powerful and illuminated women:
SPIRITUALITY
SELF CARE
RELATIONSHIPS
HEALTH
SENSUALITY
PURPOSE
Look forward to being with you soon. Enjoy this Holy Days and BE GOOD TO YOURSELF!
All Love Surround You,

A Witness To My Own Madness!
Sweet surrender is the name of the game. I hit a point where nothing left was working. I felt absolutely insane at times, watching myself act in ways only a crazy person would. People who see me think mostly I got IT together (whatever that means) but only we know in the depth of our soul the calling that knocks so loudly at the door of our hearts. And I have been ignoring mine for sometime and for a slew of valid excuses. I always have known because of my experience with early morning Sadhana (Spiritual practice) that it is the most transformational and quick thing I can do to shift things in my self and my life. So in resolution of the extreme inner pain I have been feeling, I gathered community at the property we live on in Topanga so we could rally and support each other with an early morning Sadhana. Everyone was game and had been asking for it as well. It has not been without its challenges since I am breast feeding a 15 months old, but so very worth it. After only a week of being in my early morning Sadhana I am clear as day seeing the difference between my impatient, frustrated, and manic self and the regained depth of my breath, patience and steadiness that I am now experiencing. When I was getting up at 7.30am, I did not even have time to do a meditation as my girl is up needing my full attention. And I had a 100 valid excuses of why I was up late working, breastfeeding all night and therefore unable to get up that early. Awaking at 5.30am, splashing cold water on my face and getting on the mat outdoors in the fresh air has been creating a new groove within me. A new pattern. Truth is, I never want to get up, I am always tired at that time and pissed that I have to get up! But I tell you, as soon as I hit that mat and take a few deep breaths, I thank God for another day of being able to show up for my practice, my prayer and my time to connect to the Divine within me before MASS consciousness awakens. Its pure magic and all of a sudden I wonder why I have not been doing this my whole life. I am such a better human being, wife and mother when I have had the time to truly center myself. I am a witness to my own madness living inside of this technological age and given that I am sober for 8 years, and don't even do caffeine and sugar anymore, I am a pretty grounded being. Still inside of that I am seeing how fast my mind moves, almost like the computer, like there is an evolution going on within me that I can't even keep up with. I could get off the grid completely and choose not to live inside of the techno age and deal with that. But I do choose to live in it and I choose to be sane. Early morning Sadhana is so powerful because between the hours of 4am-6.30am the sun is at a 60 degree angle to the Earth and it is the easiest time to cleanse your subconscious mind, that being the place where all the trash gets dumped. It needs cleaning! On a daily basis. What I am seeing is that all the spiritual teaching that we have access to via the net as well as some great teachers traveling around the world, it still lives very much in an intellectual way if there is no steady practice. The early morning practice is what gives you the true knowing and the wisdom, the experience of it. So with that, I hope you are inspired to take on a 40 day early morning practice and see how things shift in your life. Please feel free to reach out. I am attaching our 40 days practice below. This quote I read some years ago always stayed with me... "Nothing can change the pattern of human destiny until the devotion is so strong that one is willing to sacrifice his patterns. And when that occurs, life is grantedly changed. Elevated consciousness is a surety. Happiness is around the corner." Yogi Bhajan
So very true....
