I saw that you love the seven Husbands of Evelyn hugo and I've just gotta ask: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's a fictional memoir abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend/foil ala shoeh. It also ft. a subplot abt arson at the White House and an entirely queer main cast, really fleshed out characters, and a really satisfying ending!

Good heavens, I finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo a few minutes ago...

I'm slightly sad and devastated at the thought of how it ended and why it ended, but...

This was the best book I've ever read (it was the only one I've read so far), I never thought printed letters could make someone feel something so profound.

I swear I don't want to give spoilers, but heavens! I want to marry someone proposing to me in our bedroom with hair garters, just me and her. 👈🏻😭

I can say that my relationship with Evelyn is love and hate, there are so many things that this woman does that inspire you and that make you think that you shouldn't do the same. She teaches a lot.

I would recommend this book to anyone, but specifically to people who are afraid of doing something they enjoy and who are trapped inside a glass prison.

For those who, above all, want to climb to the top, whether in a good or bad way, just to acquire the knowledge that it's not just you who wants to win, or something like that.

I do not know what I'm talking!! I simply loved it, I cried, I laughed, I hated it, everything and a little more. 😭😭

I don't have words to describe what I'm feeling now, after finishing, but I know I'll take this learning with me.
