oh honey! dont worry at all <3you’re not invalid for not being completely like you are in the show! a lot of timelines are different, and sometimes people are different in them and different things happen to them!like me, for instance! I’m gamzee from homestuck and in my timeline I was different from how he is in canon and lots of different things happened to me!It’s perfectly alright to be a little timid or nervous and not as brave as peridot in the show, you’re still you and you’re still amazing!Being from a different canon than the show is always okay and doesnt make you invalid or anything, and no matter what I think you’re really great <3

i saw self insert ships of me (im lapis) and their gemsona and i feel really uncomfortable please help i hate self inserttt :(

hey lapis!I understand how this could make you uncomfortable! try to listen to some music or do something that relaxes youremember, avoid the posts and dont send messages to the artists for drawing self insert stuff.

Relax for awhile, and ask whoever reblogged the post onto your dash to tag self inserts so maybe you wont have to see it againRelax for awhile, do something that you like and just try to forget about it

I'm Lapiskin but the thing I've never really tried, or known how to get memories, I just, I am Lapis, but I don't know how to get memories, any help?

Hey Lapis!First of all, its okay if you dont have memories! If you feel like youre fine just being Lapis without specific memories, thats oki~if you really do wanna get some memories though, i always start with watching the show!

other things that might help get some memories are meditating, going near the ocean if you live by it, or if you dont, listen to some ocean sounds! you can find lots of ocean wave sounds, but two websites i know for sure have them are http://soundrown.com/ and http://www.calmsound.com/ !! meditating while listening to the ocean sounds would probably be steller tbh

oh! and sometimes, for me anyways, i can get memories by just rambling on about some theory/AU idea I have. It often leads to me rambling on and saying something that turns out to be a memory!Good luck Lapis, I’m sure you’ll get some memories if you wanna!

aww its alright! i get confused by kintypes too sometimes!all i can really tell you that might help is watch the show~ watch the episodes with lapis and peridot in them, it might help. try to think if you think “ME” when one of them shows upand be open to the idea you could be kin to both of them! or possibly a fusion between them toodont worry little noodle, you’ll get it figured out! good luck! <3

i understand friend! im a few non-canon gems myself, it can be hard sometimes!Its hard when you remember things and dont see yourself doing them in canon but we all have different timelines! a good way i like to deal with it is to get commissions of artwork of yourself if you can afford it~ <3dont worry, youre wonderful! feel free to come back if you need to honey~

I am kin of Peridot, I remember having a faceted gemstone that wasn't completely smooth. I also think i might've had vampire-like flags and that the gems had starry eyes. I think I might've been defective but I'm not sure about that. Garnet was like a mentor to me, Pearl was highly appreciable, Steven was always there for me, and I might've had romantic feelings for Amethyst, Jasper and Lapis. I would really like to meet other SUkin, so can they reblog if this is familiar?

well friend, its very personal. some things that usually indicate that im kin with somebody is that i start picturing myself as them, i start seeing pictures and saying things like “me”, i feel like im thinking like they do. this could be different for you, but thats usually how i start realizing it!kin is a really personal thing, so dont worry!
