Bonjour, time traveller! you have just landed into the sixties, the decade where fashion broke rules and made new ones on the spot, where revolutions were led by go go boots and bold eyeliners. Everything, the hair, the ideology- were bigger louder and freer. So what do you wear in the sixties again???

Early 1960s (1960–1964): Conservative, formal, neat. Think Jackie Kennedy, Mad Men. Muted tones – navy, brown, gray, pastels.

Mid-1960s (1965–1967): Youthquake! London Mod culture explodes. Bright colors, bold patterns. Brights! Canary yellow, lime green, hot pink. Paper dresses, mary quant, futuristic dresses, geometric patterns.

Late 1960s (1968–1969): hippie movement. Rebellion, anti-establishment, psychedelic fashion. Warm earthly tones, long hair, long skirts, barefoot. Love & freedom.

agneta olsson, aka stellar — lovechild of a non-mutant woman and famous mutant erik lensherr. she was born in ‘63 — she always knew something was different about her, even though her powers didn’t start to show until she was sixteen. she didn’t who know her father was, not until that age when professer xavier took her under his wing and raised an eyebrow at her ability to manipulate metal. her other powers include telekinesis, energy manipulation, and electrokinesis. however, sometimes the power takes over her — and she has little control.

stellar’s iconic costume — perhaps the most fashionable of the xmen, her costume includes a sleeveless glittery purple mod-style dress, with a silver belt, headband, and knee high boots, plus white gloves.

relationships — her and kitty are as close as sisters because they were both recruited near the same time, and there aren’t many kids in the xmen. jean is like a second mother to her, for she knows what it’s like to lose control of her abilities. storm is also very kind, acting as a mentor for both her and kitty.
