Hey everyone, I am once again requesting emergency assistance for my beloved bingus, Baudelaire. We have suspected asthma for the past few months due to infrequent coughing episodes, and had a scheduled vet appointment with him for the beginning of June in order to address the issue. Unfortunately, his health has taken a turn in the past few days and we do not believe he will be able to wait for the scheduled appointment.

The coughing fits have progressed to rapid breathing, lethargy, reduced appetite, and wheezing. While signs are still pointing to asthma, he is noticeably uncomfortable and I do not believe he can wait for two weeks to be seen, especially given the early signs of respiratory distress. Vet says the exam will likely include bloodwork and an xray, and then we'll have to pay for whatever treatment medication he needs to pull through alright. The rub is we had just enough money to eat for the rest of the month and this throws a MASSIVE wrench in the whole not starving thing.

We have scheduled an emergency appointment for him later today, HOPEFULLY we have enough in our account to pay for the visit, but I am opening emergency commissions on a pay-what-you-can basis in order to help fund treatment for my skin-beast and maybe even the luxury of being able to eat for the next two weeks.
