About my AU + sukeban tidbits

I don’t remember if I explicitly mentioned it or it’s been a while and a refresher is needed, but my AU with FeMC is around her universe so she has her own set of successors in the form of the sukeban and Sumire.

Yeah the sukeban is a female version of Yu, but in my head I’m thinking about how Japan puts a lot of pressure on women to fulfill these unrealistic and high pressure standards. I’ve always seen Yu as someone who follows what was told to him growing up but he craves genuine friendships and lasting bonds with others.

In her case, she did what she was told up to a point and decided to rebel by getting piercings, smoking, skipping school, then joining a gang. I’ve been revising her story and now it would fit into P4’s themes of accepting yourself and finding the truth but i suck wt writing but i’m trying

Sukeban Snippets #1

I've decided that I'm going to start sharing some of my ideas for my P4 sukeban AU.

Fun fact: Years ago, I tried to actually start writing a story for it in ao3, but gave up because writing is hard for me and I just really struggled with how I wanted to convey the story. I hope by sharing it will help me flesh out the story and maybe get new ideas.

For SL, I wanted to have Aika Nakamura and gas station attendant as options. I'm not sure which arcana Aika would be, but for the gas station attendant (who doesn't have a name yet) he would be the Adjustment arcana and would be replacing the Aeon.

I do hope that Aika does have a model now that they're remastering P4, but I do think it was a big disservice that she didn't get one in Golden. I was thinking of maybe exploring more of her story and personality, like does she ever get stressed being the one to deliver food everywhere for Aiya even as a student or working multiple jobs? Also, I view her as a secret smoker so she smokes with the sukeban at the outskirts of town during her breaks and they're just hanging out on their bikes.

I remember seeing a video of how there was originally going to be a job where you work at the gas station, so I wanted to expand on that. He is Izanagi and has observed the town to try to understand humanity objectively, but his savior complex gets in the way and starts to cloud his own judgement so he decides to intervene indirectly.
