solidarian being roommates in jims one bedroom apartment during evo. [aka my favorite silly bit to take as real true canon]
during july 2018, they were a ton of downtown-centric livestreams jim did that were very grian involved. this is all from one of those specific streams, centered around decorating jims newly bought apartment in downtown where it seems to be established that grian is his roommate :)
jim, as soon as grian walks in the door: "oh my gosh! that scared the life out of me. right grian- let me just turn on chat. [he says this next part aloud but also types it in chat, in case grian wasnt listening to the stream.] hello sir. welcome home. welcome home!"
[from here until zee comes, grian hangs around and deliberates what to record for jimmys stream notification sounds while jim decorates]
and zee really instigates this living together thing, because the second grian says 'our home' he gets really into the idea:
[neither of them acknowledged the dating comment by zee, because we started to do a bit of police roleplay.]
and because grian was recording jims stream sounds [which includes the old £5 dono sound, where he goes 'ooh thats a five, you know what that means timmy' and blows jimmy up] he well... blows jim up.
zee of course is not too happy his build has been blown up:

and zee was the only one thinking properly here by jumping to the dating thing, because if grian lives with jimmy and jimmy only has one bedroom... ?! well... there's not many other explanations...!!!
