Hi. I post nonsexual vore.
Before you interact, know that I block minors, ageless blogs, blogs who interact with and/or allow minors to interact with them, and generally just people who I'm uncomfortable with. This blog is first and foremost for me, so I want to make this a space where I actually want to post and not feel anxious about who interacts with me.
Been following for a while and seen all this stuff going on, but can we see the proof? Like screenshots and stuff you said you have of these people doing the stuff you say? I wanna believe but genuinely wanna see proof too
I'm going through my old Discord and compiling stuff from there, on my new Discord too, and pulling things from Tumblr to put all into one document. I do have these that I can first show, and when I compile more I'll try to post them in bursts before releasing the full document.
FOR CONTEXT: I freshly turned 18 years old at the time of these screenshots(2019), and the "bio" person that ran the server was also either 18 or 17, and did not know what ub (unbirthing) meant. I believe Glowinside was in their 20s at this time, and they were a moderator of this person's server.
Due to the soft threat of legal action against this blog, I am ceasing all activity until further notice.
the vore community has been, and will continue to be a place that is unsafe for both minors and victims of any form of abuse or grooming suffered within it. people have proven time and time again that they will refuse to acknowledge or in fact, violently defend abusers for any reason they can cook up because they do not want to face the consequences of doing so- all people want to do is consume vore content thoughtlessly and if ignoring their favorite artist's grooming allegations means they can do it, then so be it. ignorance is bliss- that's why so many blogs around here are still firmly in the "i don't care who interacts with me!!" boat if it means they don't have to think about it. believe it or not, you have to think about your actions in a kink space even if you don't see it as one.
you can't just excuse away the harm you're enabling with "i didn't know," or "i don't want to talk about that, i just wanna vibe and look at pictures of people eating each other!" that is still enabling, that is still causing harm, and that's just proving to hurt people that there's no one they can trust and when it comes down to it, no one will stick up for them when they open up about the things they've suffered. it's always the victims who are wrong for standing up for themselves or calling attention to people that have been or are still doing harm (especially if they aren't cordial and nonthreatening in the way they talk about it, even though they have every right to be upset), because there's no way your favorite artist could do something bad! their art is too good! their writing is too well-done to be made by someone bad! so it must be them who's wrong, because the abuser said so and the victim was mean! why don't we all attack the victim for daring to open up and nitpick how they did it, because surely that is what prevents people from being hurt! ignore how nobody's actually done any of these things, btw (and if they did, they get ignored immediately).
at worst, these people are callous and cruel and are abusers themselves. at best, these people are enabling harm to be perpetuated because they don't want to acknowledge it. or they're too scared to be dogpiled too, or whatever other reason there is. this culture this community fosters needs to die out or people will continue to be used and abused.
this blog will never come off hiatus. not while this place and people i used to admire and trust continue to prove themselves to be the kinds of people that will justify the sexual abuse i endured for years in this community.
Yeah no pythonpie is right, even if it could've been said better. What you’re doing ruins people’s lives, what you're accusing are not accusations to throw around lightly. The person you're doing this to has been correcting their mistakes for the past 9 years. There are better ways of fighting the issues in this community and grooming as a whole than accusing people, this isn't how to do it.
Talking to children about your fetishes as an adult is inherently grooming. That needs to be called out and discussed and the stories of victims needs to be platformed.
The stories of victims don't expire. Even if they come out about it years later.
Also what about the lives that these people have harmed? Why are we focused on the aggressor's feelings only?

they werent taking offense, they were responding maturely and trying to explain their side, about as calmly as a person can in a situation like this, even more so with you seeming to read their replies and attempts at fixing this in bad faith. you’ve misinterpreted the reply they made, and youre coming across as very unnecessarily and concerningly unkind

Hi anon, I'm not engaging in respectability politics when it comes to somebody being angry at the fact that people are upset when they try to downplay the harm they have directly caused to children, including myself when I was a minor. Especially when they have directly attacked another victim and claimed that they could have never groomed her because they didn't know her age, as if that was.. an acceptable excuse. Then going to say that they're still in contact with minors.
This community has such deep-rooted problems that it's deemed acceptable to try and make victims out as being unreasonable if they come across as disrespectful in any manner to their aggressor. I'm not going to hide my feelings about the blatant acceptance of grooming in the vore community, or that it's so easily forgivable for adults to seek children to talk about their fetishes with.
I've talked multiple times about how I was victimized and sexually exploited as a child by the "minor accepting" fetishists in this community, and somebody going out to say "my bad... I never actually exploited any kids though when I talked to them about my fetish!" is horrifying to me. I hope you understand.
Destigmatizing kink doesn't mean you can destigmatize grooming.

YOU WERE NOT THE VICTIM WHEN YOU WERE GROOMING CHILDREN AND SETTING THEM UP TO BE SEXUALLY EXPLOITED BY ADULTS. the fact that you keep acting like this was entirely out of your hands and that what you did wasn't that bad, or that it didn't happen, or that people who were effected deserved it because "if something bad happened I would have known. you should have told me" as if you had absolutely zero power or agency in ANYTHING that happened unless it was brought to your face.
And make no fucking mistake here, you aren't qualified in any capacity to be a mandated reporter when you made a fetish space for children to take active part in (even if you claim it to be nonsexual "95% of the time".... as if you should even talk to kids about your fetishes AT ALL even if it was 100% nonsexual) and then go "lol my bad I'll stop doing that" when those children end up being groomed or sexually harassed by people in YOUR SCOPE. Then you act like it's entirely normal to still be in contact with minors despite displaying behavior that directly endangers them. Were you afraid to report any of what you saw happen in your spaces, Ama?
and your statement saying that you didn't actually groom one of your victims who's been actively posting about her trauma regarding it is outright disingenuous. talking to a child as an adult about fetishes, whether it's something you see as innocous like vore- or any other topic that's widely regarded as a fetish like tar pits, feet, stink, whatever- is inherently grooming behavior. whether you "didn't know she was a minor" or not doesn't fucking matter. you displayed that it wasn't an issue for you to talk to minors about vore in the first place, and that afaik the only reason you stopped was because you kept seeing children in your spaces talk about sexual topics, and that people kept telling you that your behavior was allowing children to be hurt under the guise of protecting them. the victim also talked to you about being in highschool, and that didn't raise ANY alarms for you that she was a child? especially for how many years she brought up being in school?
either way, even with your apologies of hurting people all you say is "well I didn't mean it/it wasn't entirely my fault ("I was trying to do a good thing by letting kids in a kink space to protect them" and "why is the blame being put squarely on me, there's other people who have done wrong too"), sorry if I hurt you or made you uncomfortable." you don't go into why what you did was dangerous and why what you did harmed children.

I don't know what the hell your problem is, but those are some very, very serious allegations you just dropped, and I won't stand for this kind of bullshit anymore. You see, some of us freaks have been drawing and writing about vore since LITERAL childhood. Since WE were children. No grooming, no nothing. If you have an issue with that, that's a you problem. Some of the people you've listed are people I happen to know EXTREMELY personally. YOU on the other hand, know nothing. All you know is pointing fingers and being a royal asshole in doing so. It's the dangerous kind of high school level pettiness.
It's bullshit like this that scares people into silence about actual abuse and predatory behavior and, I'm gonna be honest, makes YOU sound like you're hiding something yourself. In my experience, it's people who raise massive stinks over this kind of stuff that have the most shame about some deep seeded insecurity or unhealed trauma that you are dragging other folks into. It's not cute. It's not funny.
We can go rounds and rounds about whether vore is sexual or not, if vore is a fetish/kink or not, or insert other thing here. I've seen this discourse rise and fall over the past at this point almost 15 years. I guess muppets eating each other is sexual. I guess scenes from Dragon Tales are pornographic. Dude, it's a fucking STORY. And many of these stories employ vore as plot devices, exploring dynamics, and establishing trust between characters. Or, god forbid, some people use vore as a way to cope with really fucked up shit! I suspect this is a virtue signal to go OHH NOOO LOOK OVER THERE AT THOSE DANGEROUS FREAKS GROOMING KIDS when NONE of them have EVER put children in ANY kind of dangerous or compromised positions. This behavior isn't helping to protect anyone! Everybody's gotten so "save the children" oriented that it's made everybody fucking paranoid. Get a life, dude.

Hey there; I wanted to mention with a quick search of my old username that I did see the discussion on the current Vore community status and want to say I wholly agree, and share some additional insight as to why. I was Bioluminescent-Bat, and Glowinside/Shadow0Haven was one of my main groomers (I believe I was freshly 18-19 when I was moderating servers; this does NOT excuse failures to moderate and educate properly, just explain as a word of caution). At 14, I was within a Skype server with them & others who actively insisted their interest was Nonsexual, wherein they discussed heavily fetish-based activities while knowing I was a high school student actively. They trained me into sticking in close circles, and writing works I was unaware were fetishistically appealing (including ones with younger characters. Still horrified by this). Earlier years included them maintaining a very heavy interest in me in the “one of us” mentality within those spheres, and encouraged me to get peers interested in the concept as well. I did not know this was recruitment tactic of fellow minors at the time. The “SFW” side in early adulthood also constantly told me that if I stepped away from them I would be actively fetishized, and insisted “mixed” spaces of children and adults were the only “safe” ones. They also insisted that if I was not “Ace enough” or so much as engaged with fellow adults/18+ spaces, I was lying about having thematic vs sexual interest and essentially had “permission” to sexualize me. This is beyond concerning to me now looking back in adulthood on a multitude of reasons.
After user concern reasonably sparked, I was able to purge the associated accounts and abandoned all associated spaces. But due to the fact that included the tumblr I did want to anonymously send this your way to confirm that as a word of warning for others. The “SFW Vore” spaces are designed by groomers to raise new generations of well-intending but horrifically misguided children into adults who have been abused into not understanding what a safe community looks like. Having stepped away, I watched that pattern continue with others of similar mentality who I was unable to explain this to or warn, as others had me. This is no longer a topic I can engage within a community with, but one I do feel I need to give proper warning to others on in my stead.
In essence, Vore can indeed be Nonsexual but is never for children. The insistence on SFW being synonymous with Nonsexual and/or “child-friendly” is extremely dangerous, and I know I and many others have paid dearly for it. I hope that change will come before another generation goes through a similar cycle, and in an ironic twist am grateful that people continue speaking out against the very thing I was soldiered to defend.
