I loved their JunkTown Bruce design so much that I just had to take a spin at it myself, and I am so happy and proud of how this turned out. It was a blast, and I’m very happy about the painted background.

Foxglove and daffodils

This is not a part of my story. Just a side thing I did for Pythonpie. Oh well, on with the shit. Well, the thing with Sam had been a bust. Marcus walked away from him with a disappointed look on his face. His cronies were whispering among themselves behind him, and another boy walked up to him. Link Thompson, also known as Lollipop Link, was one of the kindest kids in elementary school, but was now emanating with pure rage. In fifth grade, his fame almost matching his own infamy, Link and Marcus had a subtle friendship. But that ended the moment he pointed a painted fingernail at him, and screamed, “WHAT’S YOUR DAMAGE MARCUS?!” He was taken aback by this, struggling to come back with something to say as he continued, “how could you do this? First, you have Sam push me away. Now, you nearly had him, one of the gentlest people I know, kill my sister Emily!” Marcus replied with his most sympathetic face, “I’m sorry. I know I did something horrible, but could you forgive me?” Link looked at him with disgust, and replied with anger in his voice, “I’m sorry, had you done anything else, I might’ve forgiven you. But this? This is unforgivable. We’re DONE”. Marcus grabbed onto a sleeve of his pastel jacket, snarling, “you know you can’t do this. I can do so many things to you. Why do you care so much about Sam anyway?” Link looked back, and paused before spitting back with pure venom, “and Emily really was right. You really are the devil”. Marcus let go and stood back, shocked, as Link walked to the other side of the playground to check on Emily. His cronies shifted uncomfortably, and Marcus growled, “this isn’t over Link. Not for you either Sam. Not one bit”.
