Oh, how close to the sun they flew.
Here's an Icarus inspired piece I made a while back.
Lumberjack Kasie Palmer. Just a stressful night in her cabin out in Georgia.
Bugs.
Lately I've been practicing figure drawing and here are some of my drawings from a class I've been taking.
For my 2nd drawing for mermay I made a drawing of the Cameroon folklore creature jengu. They're protective water spirits that can heal and look a lot like a typical mermaid in most of the depictions I've seen.
Day 1/31 of mermay. I drew up a selkie from Irish mythology. In case you don't know, they're magically creatures with human forms, but they have this coat, their selkie coat, and when they put it on, they transform into a seal.
Here's a page of Morgan.
Just some fairy buddies taking a boat ride on a lilypad.
Here's a drawing of Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'arc) I made because lately I've been interested in her history. For context my drawing loosely depicts the moment she was burnt at a stake by the English. After her death she was canonized as a saint by the Catholic church.
Here are pages of my storyboard animatic for an assignment I did in my tech class of my two characters. It's titled backstage.
"To Adelaide, come on and join the Adelaide parade"
Very handsy lady
Here are my sketches of Wirt and Greg. I recently watched OTGW in only two days and I love the series so much it's such a vibe.
"We're the cloud city reception committee, and we are here to welcome thee!"
Here's my design for Amelia from the Amelia project. I have some sketches of the rest that I'll post when I finish. The interviewer will probably be next.
More Camlann podcast fanart specifcally from epsiode 1. :D
