i also genuinely think the finale of oitnb was almost perfect. sure there were some things i was upset about but i knew not everyone would get a happy ending. BUT taystee finally being happy and creating the poussey washington fund? nicky turning into the next red and helping others get clean? vauseman endgame? suzanne realizing she won’t always have control over everything and that she can be happy despite the bad things around her? gloria getting out and finally seeing her sons again? cindy being let back into her family? i loved it all.

even the stories that didn’t turn out okay, (red, lorna, p-tuck, daya, etc.) were written well and, although extremely heartbreaking, needed for a show like oitnb.

were there some problems? ofc, but i’ve been watching this show since middle school, it’s been really important to me, and i felt like they ended it right. i’m gonna miss the fuck out of it though.
