her shift was supposed to be over HOURS ago. walking home so late was something she avoided at all costs. sunagakure was a dangerous place, && for someone like her ––––––– fingers tighten around the keys in her hand, shooting looks over her shoulder at every small noise. && with a soft CLICK, the tea shop door was locked.
manami turned, heading down the dark, narrow path back home. maybe she was tired ? or was it just because it was so dark out that she didn’t seem him until he was already upon her. she stopped in her tracks, just inches from bumping into him . . . && it was a good thing she caught herself before it was too late. she’d seen the aftermath of what he could do.
❛ i-i’m . . . i’m so sorry. i didn’t see you there ––––– ❜
( @sandtied liked for a starter ! )
