Hello! If only she can actually SPEAK. Maybe then she can tell this young lady that there is no reason to be afraid. As it is, though, she’ll have to find a different way.

Instead, Amaterasu keeps still for a moment, before she gestures with her head at their surroundings. This is a land she’s UNFAMILIAR with, though the shore is very reminiscent of Ryoshima Coast. Needless to say, the sun goddess appears to be lost.

Or, rather, somewhere she didn’t expect to be.

The wolf then looks back at the young woman, head tilting to the side as if to ask the question.

Hey so I know I said I’d get to greeters earlier in the week but uh. I didn’t. So I’m gonna get to them now.

In the meantime though, I’ve started up playing Okamiden and because I love these two so much, please LIKE/COMMENT for a test starter with either CHIBITERASU or ISSUN. If you don’t specify which one I’ll just give you a random one.

A greeting.

Ah! She has been booped!

Amaterasu lets out a surprised “ boof ” once the action occurs, but now she’s staring at the stranger expectantly, tail wagging.

Will they give her a pat on the head, now?

Your a goddess of light? Huh. I know a guy who has a lot of darkness in him but I don't think he's a god of darkness. He just... did something stupid really. I'd rather not tell what.

Introductions.

Well, less of light and more of the sun. That’s what she is, in all honesty–a bringer of the sun, ORIGIN of all that is GOOD, all of that nonsense. But it’s the best she can communicate, so she will have to settle with the hand that FATE has dealt her.

Hearing this gray-faced creature ramble about someone else she doesn’t know of is…not really what she expects. But plenty have done it before. Perhaps they, too, feel some odd IMPORTANCE that the white wolf carries, though they can’t quite place it.

This being, though? Well, she’ll let them speak.

Mistakes happen, dear friend. Everyone has made a few, some more than others. Even herself. Why, if she hadn’t entrusted those Fox Rods with that demon in disguise, perhaps Himiko would still be among them…

…But. It helps to have a guiding hand at one’s side. ( Ah, how she misses that little pest’s voice between her ears. She hopes life is being kind to Issun. )

Amaterasu lets out a yawn, before gazing back at the stranger. There is darkness in everyone. It lies in the hearts of men, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. But stay by your friend’s side. Guide them. Show them a better way. Perhaps they will thank you in the long run.

Considering adding Chibi and Issun as side muses.......but I think I’ll have to wait until I replay Okamiden for that.......

Max is more than happy with this action, a big smile on her face. Though in reality, her dad has told her not to wander off or pet strange animals, but this one seems friendly enough. Surely her dad wouldn’t mind her loving on this sweet dog. 

“You’re my friend now, Puppy, and I love you!”

What a sweet child. She’s absolutely smitten with how cute the little girl is, and the more she lingers around her the more she feels as though she’s to stay by her side. At least until her parental figure(s?) arrive. What could this child possibly be doing on her own?

Regardless, Amaterasu takes a step back, leaning down and panting with her tail wagging rapidly. Looks like she wants to play!

She may not quite know the ins and outs of this building very well yet, having only lingered in its art department and its projector room. But perhaps, in this case, she’ll just have to settle on taking the demon to one of the more out of the way offices so that no one else can disturb him.

And once she does, Amaterasu gently lets him go. Before he can make for the door, however, she gets him to sit with a soft push with a paw...

...and then plops her head right into his lap.

Another case of keeping him from moving. There’s a look in her eyes, concern and something akin to sternness. Bebe went too far and killed someone. He needs to calm down. What better way to do that than to cuddle with something that’s soft and warm?

Hm. Though, perhaps she should’ve thought this out better so they both won’t get bored. If she could reach the papers, maybe she’d draw for him as well.

What a strange newcomer. She’s finding plenty of odd sorts in Nippon nowadays, isn’t she? Regardless, this very odd dog is gonna stop herself right in front of this very odd stranger, staring directly up at them.

“Awww~” Bubba hasn’t actually seen a real wolf in person. So this wolf seemed so majestic and regal to him. He hops off of the piano and goes to hug the wolf!

Bubba, you fool. This is a goddess. Most likely a holy being. And you’re hugging her.

Again, you fool.

Well, doesn’t seem like he can understand her. But that’s fine. Maybe he’ll just give her a nickname, like everyone else does.

But she does stay patient and still as the ink demon comes near and...hugs her. Oh. Okay, that’s not what she’s expecting, and she shakes her head in surprise.

But she doesn’t pull away. Hugs are rare for her to receive! Usually people just pat her head.

Well, guess this being can’t see her true form. That’s a darn shame–it simply means that they can’t see her for what she truly is, and can only see her as a ( rather large ) wolf with pure white fur.

No crimson markings or divine instrument to be seen, huh?

Regardless, she’s not offended enough to start whining. No, she’s far too USED to it by now.

So, Amaterasu sits before the stranger, and with a quick stroke of her Celestial Brush, the sun is shining brighter and warmer than it did mere seconds ago. And she lets out a single bark.

SUN GODDESS. OKAMI AMATERASU.

It might not get the point across, but it’s the best she can start off with.
