I don’t know if anyone actively watches this blog but if you do and care I promise I do have a some fics in the works. This is my most hectic season and it will be like this for a bit longer.

I’ve also hit a bit of a wall with my writing so I’ve just been re-reading and editing what I have so far over and over and over again.

I promise stuff is coming, it’s just very slow moving right now.

Okay everyone (or even just a single someone) I need opinions. I’m working on three different Gelphie fics because I can’t seem to stay focused on one at a time lately. Which one would yall like me to lock in on?

1. This fic I started back in July. It centers around the idea that people think Elphaba is emotionless and Galinda, to prove everyone wrong, starts complimenting (and tracking) Elphaba to show that she does in fact smile. It’s fluffy and a little angsty. But mostly just delightful.

2. Galinda notices that Elphaba sticks to the shadows and flinches away from sunlight and bright light, and she’s determined to figure out why. This isn’t a vampire fic and it’s meant to deal with themes of self loathing but it will have a happy ending.

3. A Christmas Gelphie fic. Galinda loves Lurinemas and is determined to have a wonderful celebration with her friends before they part ways for the winter holiday, including a secret gift swap. She notices that Elphaba does not allow herself to enjoy any of it and just goes through the motions. Galinda is determined to give Elphaba the holiday she deserves.

All fics are written primarily from Galinda’s POV.

somewhere out there, a writer is looking at the anguished keysmash and string of emojis you left on their fics and smiling. somewhere out there, somebody's shitty day has been made a teensy bit brighter because of you said you want them to update their writing. somebody who's feeling insecure about their story is sitting down to write a few more paragraphs because you said you loved their style.

you may have left a detailed paragraph about the structure of their sentences and their usage of extended metaphors. you may have also left a "COMPLETE PERFECTION. PLEASE WRITE MORE I NEED IT". we love you and need your validation more than oxygen nonetheless. 🫵 go comment on somebody's fic

I’ve been so preoccupied with my “Fill a sketchbook in one week” challenge that I haven’t worked on any of my digital Gelphie art nor fics. I know I won’t meet my challenge but it’s been so freeing to just create and fill pages.

On top of that I’ve been crocheting more lately.

Combined with the fact I can only really create without interruption at night once everyone is asleep I’m juggling too many projects!
