Boom! Foxstar! One of the fastest cats in Fireclan second only to her sister, Tigertail. Foxstar is a dedicated and loyal cat to her clan, so much so she never took a mate or kits. It was because of this dedication the previous leader of Fireclan made her his deputy
Her warrior name was Foxheart after she managed to chase off a fox all on her own with only a little help from Cliffclan warrior Longscar
She has only two friends, deputy Darkfang and her sister Tigertail.
Every cat has their secrets, but what could the dutiful Foxstar be hiding?
Wishpaw of Cliffclan, local wreck. She’s a cautious kitty on the fact that anything seems to get her sick. She really wants to be a warrior but she's apprehensive, what if she gets an infected wound, get sicks and died? what if she gets too cold, gets sick and died? As a result she ends up most of the time sick and in the medicine den. As a result, she likes to hang around Nightpaw, the med cat apprentice!

Skullface! Driftclan! Cat with a rather large family! He’s the talker between him and his brother. He’s curt and has a tongue that can CUT. He is currently disgruntled with Fernstar’s method of leadership with Driftclan, he believes that she lacks strength. He’s amassed followers who also have a similar thought train.
He loves his mate, though, she’s great.
Brother: Ghostnettle
Mate: Goldenstorm
Kits: Cottenspeckle, Pepperpoppy | Ashpaw, Grasspaw, Barkpaw, Dogpaw
Grandkits: Harepaw, Yellowpaw
Heeeeeeeee’s back cats! I never did explain his name, did I? It’s rather...unconventional for drift clan cats and that's because his ma was Fireclan! (who loves scary names~) She joined Driftclan to be with her lover but couldn’t leave all parts of her clan behind
Driftclan warrior Cottonspeckle! A happy, chunky boy who’s really fun to cuddle. Considered of the best dads! He’s a family cat above all else~ When his kits weaned, his mate and him swapped places, he loves taking care of his kits and looks forward to having an eventual second litter.
Not really the best warrior, but he’s a decent hunter.
He has a bit of inferiority complex. He knows his dad loves him, he really does! He just doesn’t say it much and it’s hard to keep telling himself otherwise.

yeah. style update. I finally realised how tiny & unclear the original way of doing things and that’s pretty bad for an oc blog hah... Also I ditched the stats ‘cause I was not consistent with those - I’ll redo every other cat and reblog ‘em when done. ANYWAYS DOVEFEATHER
Dovefeather of Fireclan! She’s an aloof, middle-aged warrior who’s rather observant if she’s present enough for that. The reason for her absent nature is that it’s a protective measurement; her parents and sister perished when they were ambushed by a family of foxes while she was sick. Unable to cope, she distanced herself from this reality and spent most of her time watching butterflies pass.
Had the medicine den not be full then, maybe she would’ve find solace
However recently, she’s seem to have found a calming life with Hazelear. When she realised she was expecting, for the first in a while, she felt excitement
Mate: Hazelear
Kits: Heatherpaw, Shrewpaw

Nightpaw of cliffclan and ¼ protagonists. It’s kind of a Cinderpelt-cinderheart situation, when her starry friend, Nightstorm died, she was born. However, no-cat knows how their darling deputy died so Nightpaw has to find out. She’s the only one who can she Nightstorm by the way, though other cats can see the odd glow reflected on Nightpaw on dark nights. To add insult to injury, (besides being the only cat who can figure out how Nightstorm died) Starclan refuses to let her get her warrior name!
Funnily enough, she becomes a medicine cat instead.
She has a brother, Rabbitpaw who she’s close with. On terms of personality, she’s rather cunning but easily annoyed/agitated. She’s trying though.
oh hey, another birdclan cat. This time, it’s Windyfur! She’s a loner and not one for talking. Her parents weren’t really involved in her upbringing so she’s really reserved. She and Fallingsun bonded via the similarities they shared since they’re both private cats, the quiet company they had was enough for her.
Because of her upbringing, and being assaulted by the not-so-fun postpartum depression, she had issues raising Redpaw. By the time he had weaned off milk and onto prey, Windyfur had already left the nursery and felt no attachment to her kit. It probably didn’t help that he was a ginger tomcat, a curse in Birdclan.
Once again, with her second litter, she is trapped in the throws of postpartum depression but she’s trying her best to be there for her kits this time.
Mate: Fallingsun
Kits: Redpaw | Lionkit, Rainkit

Did you guys know it’s a legal requirement for every Ravenpaw to be an absolute nervous wreck? Anyways yeah, introducing Ravenpaw of Birdclan, resident big gal. She’s a bit of a loner ‘cause she’s afraid of getting picked on. Especially by Tatteredpaw who is younger than her. She’s also self-conscious about her size and the fact that she’s a lot larger than most of the other apprentices. She relies on her mentor a lot.
Ravenpaw is also a superstitious lot. Crows indict a murder, no visible moons mean StarClan is upset and a red cat in Birdclan is bad news.

This is the only one so far, but I’ll probably come up with more~
On the first moon of Newleaf, instead of a gathering, a full, all four clans wide athletics carnival will occur. It serves as a celebration to the survivors of Leafbare. It’s simply called Newlight.
Competitions between the clans include things like races, climbing, swimming and anything else they come up with. The prize for the clan with the most winners is a large prey item caught by the ‘host’ clan.
Can be applied to the canon clans but this was originally made for my fanclans.
The previous winner of Newlight was Cliffclan, which was gifted a large Tuna Driftclan caught!
Tinybrook of Fireclan, senior warrior extraordinaire. She’s a calm cat, but gets hissy at other clans. Many cats look up to her. She’s been one of Foxstar’s close confiders as she was around for the previous leadership. Tinybrook is quiet and fierce, small and lithe. She’s looking to retire soon but thinks it’s a shame she never made deputy.
Cliffclan cats are the most adaptive of all the clans, making use of many different biomes in their territories. They hunt in the deep underbelly of their cave, dig for shrimp on the shore, chase after rabbits on the moor and swim out to sea to fish.
Camp time: There’s actually a bigger cave on a tunnel off shoot that's much bigger and has a rather large colony of bats. The nursery and medicine den are interconnected but not one. There's also a large colony of glow-worms that light the cave.
In the nursery, there's what is called a ‘kit ring’. It’s a very shallow pit that is too talll for young kittens to climb out but perfectly easy for mothers to climb out.
Leader: Longstar (5/9 lives)
Deputy: Whisperwing
Medicine Cat: Dustedoak, Nightpaw
Tradition time
Courting time: Courting cats will usually hang out together, hunt and patrol together. Quality time! Sometimes, they’ll dress each other in silk.
Battle time: Cliffclan cats will wash themselves in the camp pool before a border skirmish to bless themselves. Very few cats die after battle as they tend to have the most accomplished medicine cats and treatments.
Name time: Cliffclan cat will often name their kits not long after their born with their first impression, usually something ocean related
Rank Up time: When a cat reaches apprentice age, the medicine cat will mix up some berries to create a sort of paint so the cat can mark their paw print on a wall of history. When a cat reaches warrior hood, its tradition for them to dive to the bottom of the cave pool, or at least as far as they can get and resurface.
Story time: Legend tells of Cliffstar, who was allegedly originally a medicine cat who was led to the cave by starclan themselves who had lit up the pool.
Another legend tells of Lichenlight, another medicine cat who foretold a cave collapse and saved every cat by moving them to that side of the cave that they reside in now and was the first to treat cats using glow worm silk.
Extra time: Before apprentice age, queens will help their kits learn to swim by plopping them in the tiny stream that runs through the nursery. Once they conquer that, they’ll move into the cave pool.
Saying Time: For a clan meeting, a leader will call ‘Gather beneath I, all cats for who the glow comforts” which is a really outdated way of gathering all cats who sleep on glowworm silk nests as kits sleep on moss beds.
Fireclan are a sort of shadowclan and windclan fusion. They run upon the open moors and dodge the fires of greenleaf. They are always ready for a fight and delight in adrenaline rushes. They are lean, mean fighting machines!
Camp time: They have no nests and instead sleep in a giant pile in the centre. The ranking from centre outwards goes like Queens/kits>Elders>Apprentices>Warriors.
The leader’s and Medicine den are both dug out. On extremely stormy nights, queens, elders and apprentices will cram themselves into the medicine cat den while warriors will rotate in the leader’s den.
Leader: Foxstar (6/9 lives)
Deputy: Darktooth
Medicine Cat: Spottedbrook
Tradition time
Courting: Fireclan cats don’t put a big emphasis on relationships and polyamory isn't some big taboo. Every cat loves each other pretty much.
In terms of courting a specific cat, they’ll challenge them to a battle and the two cats will spar. If the challenger wins they become ‘mates’. Only if the loser accepts, of course.
Battle time: When it comes to border fights, if Fireclan is aware of the upcoming fight… the medicine cats will harvest the mass amount of death berries on the hill of little lake and mush it up in a form of body paint which the participating warriors will roll around in for the battle. Other clans have learnt that you do not bite them. When done, the warriors will ignore all wounds and immediately cleanse themselves in the ocean. While this is an easy way to clean wounds, warriors have died because they haven't got the medical care they needed in time.
Name time: Full warrior names are rarely used because all cats tend to be close. They prize brutal names and renaming is common. Names like Brokenface seem cruel to other clans but cats in Fireclan love the intimidation factor.
Rank up time: While an apprentice may be granted their warrior name, they will not be considered a warrior until the do a ‘fire run’ which is where they grab a stick, grab some fire from a wildfire and bring it to a specified area to burn and smoke out prey, much like a firehawk. It’s a similar process from warrior to elder, to do one last ‘fire run’. Medicine cats are supposed to make the pre-battle body paint.
Story time: A common legend is how Firestar figured out how to make use of fire in smoking out prey, it normally goes along the lines of how he observed a Firehawk and copied it, as well as taking its name.
Another legend tells of Ravenwind, a she-cat who was born blind yet became the swiftest hunter Fireclan ever had. They say she single-handedly saved the clan from starving in leaf-bare. They also say Star granted the entirety of the night sky for her to roam upon her death.
Extra time: Because there is no nursery, newborn kits and mother will spend the first moon in the medicine den. When out, Queens ‘chickening’ kits isn’t uncommon. There are also constant lookouts on duty watching for hawks.
Saying time: For a clan meeting, a leader will say ‘All cats for which the fires run’ which is an odd phrasing but has overtime become a leader thing and something to say to a fireclan cat to wish good luck.
Whisperwing of Cliffclan! The deputy no less! A rebel without a cause! A hater of authority! Who is now the authority and having a mid life crisis...
As a young cat, she was a true rebel. She would constantly defy her mother, her father, and every. damn. cat. In a desperate attempt to calm her down, or at least get her to listen, the previous leader of Cliffclan (Blizzardstar) apprenticed her to Longstar (Longscar then) and to everyones surprise...it worked! She only disobeyed direct orders 50% of the time!
But now she’s deputy and she has really shaped up. Whisperwing, however, longs for the days of youth where she quite literally, never had to care. She’s constantly telling kits of the trouble she’s gotten up too since she’ll most likely never make elder. The queens resent the ideas she’s giving them.

I’m redoing the maps to make them pretty and editing post #1 as we go along
sooo keep an eye out
but dw I’ll reblog it when I'm done :3
So yeah, this is the new map and is based on different aussie environments because that's my home b a b y. more specifically, the great ocean road, savannahs and rainforests. But the animals are drawn from around the world cause i’ll feel bad if endangered marsupials are murdered by feral cats
These territories are also much bigger than forest/lake territories and thusly, bigger clans~
