            she’s doing her best of being reassuring , never knowing how to address worry directed towards her . she was happy ? why did people ask if she was okay when she was smiling ?   ❛   i have a pretty big plate ! i can do just about anything i can set my mind to !   ❜   spoken with false confidence , she just really needs a hug .

            ❛   PFFFBT , does this face look like the face of a girl’s who stressed out ?   ❜   asked with her bags seeming to grow more purple every second that ticks by . she hasn’t slept in quite a bit , mostly so she was able to keep up with atlas , && the other because she needed to finish so many more things for prom . it was only a month away ish , && she needed to it to be perfect ! with a deep inhale , she holds it && wipes under her eyes , finger accidentally going past her waterline && right into her eye .

       First day at school. Her aunt had kind of refused to leave her side until the girl who was supposed to show her around had shown up, and then there had been various teachers that had done some talking. This was the first moment of time that the two of them were alone, the halls empty. It meant that Rain would actually get to see what she was like, and Rain was definitely worried.

               the words catch her attention , instantly looking over to the new girl next to her . so she speaks ! usually they tended to stay quiet until a question need to be asked , or something like that , so the stuco president was thrilled this would be different . maybe it was her hopeful nature kicking in , but she definitely would not mind having this girl as a friend .

          He does his best and tries to smile for her, even though he knows that his smile is nothing compared to hers, especially when he was as tired as he felt right then. Never would he be able to understand why someone like her even bothered to talk to someone like him, but he was trying his best to make it seem a little less strange.

         “Oh, I’m just tired.” Said as he shakes his head to the offer of her drinking bottle. He had an energy drink in his backpack, for when he would inevitably get close to passing out during study hall. They still only helped so much, though. “You seem happy this morning.” Something that is not unique at all, though. he mostly just wants to hear her talk about something other than himself.

        the attempt was more than appreciated , there was nothing better than his tried smiles . they were nice , it made her feel nice ! at least he wasn’t too tired to offer a smile , && even if he was , she would understand !!! smiling could get exhausting sometimes .. but it brightened days , so it was worth the pain .

        brows crease at his simple statement , as soon as she’s about to ask how much sleep he got , the change of subject catches her attention . knowing fully well it was to change the subject from himself , && as much as she didn’t want to steer from making sure he was okay , she didn’t want to hound him so early in the morning ... tea comes held close once more from the decline    ❛   what’s not to be happy about ? i have the bestest friend in the whole world , && i saw a dog on my way here . also um , are you .. are you busy tonight ?   ❜   nostalgia of an old home hitting smackdab in the center of her chest , wanting to avoid being alone , to avoid the negative emotion .

mm i added that she does in fact have pyrokinesis , but she doesn’t use it often because she’s always scared that it’ll go out of control && she’ll do something wrong / something that she doesn’t wanna do . she doesn’t want to hurt anyone , in fact wants the very opposite , so she does her best to keep it hidden as best she can . it normally comes out whenever she’s sad / crying , so it conflicts with her tears && then her body temperature probably just .. makes the tears evaporate . 

that’s why no one ever sees her crying .
