Didn't bring my camera on purpose but I couldn't resist taking photos anyway. I like to call these shots "before and after Anthony's shirt".

Typhoon Haiyan: How to help
Tumblr has an official page with information on how to help those affected by Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda, particularly by donating to the UN World Food Programme.
Beyond money donations and volunteering in relief efforts, some beautiful artworks and photographic prints are for sale with proceeds to be donated to relief efforts in Visayas. Find more information from Art For Haiyan and Art Works: Para sa Bisayas. There are some real gems there. I've already purchased something from here myself!
You could also commission five very talented individuals to draw chibis for you in exchange for donations to the Philippine Red Cross. Demi is doing most of the coordination. Information here.
It's a very difficult time for the Philippines, as our countrymen had to endure armed conflict in Zamboanga, a major earthquake in Cebu and Bohol, and now this unprecedented typhoon that swept through the Visayas region (including Cebu yet again). It's heartening to see the response from all over the world. Rest assured that we Filipinos who are in a position to help are also organizing ourselves to aid in the relief efforts (and eventual rebuilding) to the best of our capacities.

This photo (and that photographer) is badass.

“For almost every day last month Malaysian artist/architect Hong Yi (who often goes by the nickname Red) created a fun illustration made with common (and occasionally not so common) food. Her parameters were simple: the image had to be comprised entirely of food and the only backdrop could be a white plate. With that in mind Yi set out to create landscapes, animals, homages to pop culture, and even a multi-frame telling of the three little pigs. The project, which still appears to be ongoing, has been documented heavily around the web."
Don't play with your food, they said.

Oh goodness, we have loads of stories to share with you! We had our epic 11-day, 5-destination getaway across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to take a Canadian guest around. Where did we go and what did we do? Let the video (and our millions of tags) speak for itself… for now!

I feel a little dry on the artistic front. Seeing photos like these keep me going.
Here's the story of the sea like wrinkles of an aged hand.
I imagined myself to be a hobbit on the way to Mt. Doom. The trail seems easier now than in 2009.
