At least some if not all of your followers would care if you disappeared. They followed you because they chose to see your content and content you enjoy.

You aren’t forcing anyone to do anything. Example, I have been following you for a while, but I haven’t interacted with some of your posts when I saw them. You didn’t compel me to respond, and you don’t compel others. I made the choice not to interact then, just as I am making the choice to interact with you now. And if your content was horrible to everyone, you wouldn’t have followers.

Pity often becomes genuine affection. You see an injured animal, you pity it, right? You want to take care of it, see it get better, and you genuinely like said animal. It’s the same with people. Sometimes friendship starts with pity. Doesn’t make it any less real.

If that many people laughed at your misery you’d get a lot more hate.

Additionally, I know that a lot of people are shitty. But I also know people can be genuinely kind and caring and loving and affectionate. Isn’t Thomas a good example of that? Many of his fans strive to be more like him and/or his friends. Is it so hard to think people could just like you and want to be kind just because?

Honestly there’s no such thing as too terrible for hate. If you suck, or even if you are a wonderful person, you’ll probably get hate, because lowlives have nothing better to do with their time apparently.

Why do you believe it’s so impossible? The only bad thing about you I’ve seen is just how self-loathing you are. Yeah, it’s annoying, but I know there’s more to you. Probably more that others who paid more attention would see. Things that maybe I’ll see one day. And I think I can judge if I like it.

I'm only saying this for your sake, but objectively, it's not a smart idea to bring politics into normal hobbies.
