- definition: a flag for those who are both a butch and a man, or a guy, boy, etc. this includes all queer people and any experiences under that umbrella.

- disclaimer: i did not come up with this term, only the flag. butch men have existed in this community for a long time, and are very diverse.

- flag meaning: blue is for queer manhood and masculinity, white is for genderqueer, gender non-conforming and transgender people and pink is for queerness and the queer community.

these use colors from my helian/selenian/phoebian/artemian flags, the solarian/lunarian/stellarian flags, and these butch/femme flags. helibutch/phoebutch can be considered subsets of solibutch, and selefemme/artefemme can be considered subsets of lunafemme.

also, if y’all want to see more galactian alignment + butch/femme flags, let me know! i’m also down to make terms like these with futch as well if anyone’s interested.

Femme (left) and Butch (right) flags

So uh, I wanted to make a flag for femmes and butches that didn't fit the 3 stripe and white in the middle format (nothing wrong with those, I just wanted to try making something in another style.) They're similar to flags I made many years ago, but they've been rehauled and made to be a lot more bold. You can still use those old flags of course, but I don't really like them anymore.

I've always associated femme with purple and green, and then the butch flag is red and orange as a homage to the main butch flag that's in the same colors. The bottom orange and purple stripes on the bottom of each is in reference to each other, specifically tying into solidarity and unity between the butch and femme communities. I also put purple in both because that color (especially violet) has long since been associated with sapphic love.

I think if I had to give these a name, I'd call them unity femme and unity butch, because of how they're designed to reference and show solidarity between each other. I hope everybody likes them! They're of course free to use for just about anything, including edits.

we made these several months ago, but finally cleaned up the colors and stuff to a point where were happy with them! these are for femmes/butches of all identities, including non-lesbians. if you want names for these you can call them spring femme and summer butch (they were not intentionally themed its just what the colors remind us of) :]

High Quality Simplified Butch flags

I was having trouble finding these in high-quality, though I remember seeing a 5 stripe Butch flag around before. These are simplified versions of the Butch flag by butchspace. The first flag uses the outer two stripes and is more bold, while the second uses the outermost stripe and third/fifth stripes for a more "soft" look.

I don't claim to have made this, don't gatekeep or be weird on my post, anyone can use, and help with image descriptions is welcome! (The 5000x3000px 300dpi versions are up on my Deviantart, same username)
