Apprentice-mobile headcanons
Amandaâs not allowed to drive the apprentice-mobile anymore because sheâd keep swerving trying to scare everyone.
Hoffman is the designated driver, and wouldnât let anybody else if they asked.
Lawrence wants to drive (heâs the only one that cares about laws) but John doesnât want him to with his foot.
Just to throw him in there, Logan refuses to drive. He doesnât care if he sits in the back or the passenger, he just hates driving.
John sits in the back to hold some of his medical stuff, heâs usually forced to sit in the middle because nobody else wants to.
Amanda will go âAre we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?â and Hoffman will yell at her like a mom driving her kids.
They take turns sitting in the front seat, but Lawrence is up there 80% of the time.
Logan wears headphones and blasts music so loud the whole car can hear it.
Theyâre all super serious about seat belts safety, even Hoffman and Amanda, despite how terrible they drive. If anyone isnât wearing one and the car starts beeping, they all start to berate whoever forgot.
Hoffman gets road rage, but less yelling and more *sharp inhale*.
Amanda has yelling kicking flipping people off road rage, the last time she was allowed to drive she pulled the car over to get in a fight with someone.
Adam had to get a ride once and didnât have a seat, so he sat on Lawrenceâs lap.
They donât usually go on super long rides, but they will occasionally turn on the radio if it gets too quiet.
Lawrence is an avid look out the window-er.
If anyone takes a phone call, Amanda says inappropriate things in the background. Lawrence usually takes important work calls, so she wonât for him. (John gets mad at her)
John doesnât let anyone smoke, even if they roll down the windows, so they do it when he isnât around then fabreeze the car.
Hoffman drove drunk a few times (he was able to hide it well) but almost drove everyone into a ditch one time. Never did it again.
Amanda always has snacks. Nobody knows where she gets them from, or if she keeps them in her pockets. Everyone thinks sheâs gonna stain the seat one of these days.
They kidnapped someone and threw him in the trunk once, but he woke up and tried to break out. They always tied them up after that.
Amanda forces Hoffman to slow down so she can catcall. Except itâs less catcalling and more blatant insult. Thatâs canon now.
Amanda and Logan will occasionally be in a good mood and quote vines, but theyâre the only ones who get it.
Hoffman enjoys not holding the steering wheel when going down a long road. It freaks everyone out.
Hoffman got a call from Strahm once and Amanda made kissy noises. He hung up immediately and never answered the phone again.
Lawrence is constantly pointing out the traffic laws being broken, like âYou couldnât turn right thereâ and Hoffman goes âYes thank you I noticed I know I donât careâ
They had to turn the child lock on for a few weeks because Amanda tuck and rolled.
Somehow the apprentice-mobile always smells new. (occasionally thereâs a strong smell of formaldehyde but thatâs only happened twice)
