Today is the day I introduce you all to @theallowmemovement. The #AllowMe Movement is a social effort with a goal to cultivate the talents of LGBTQIA+ youth leaders and creatives of color. In recognizing the limited representation of LGBTQIA+ folks of color in leadership positions and creative roles, #AllowMe seeks to create long term spaces to build and nurture our future LGBTQIA+ leaders and creatives of color while providing Guidance,Motivation, and Elevation for those who would not have access to it otherwise.
For so long I’ve allowed the vision of others to guide my talent, but today I take back my power and use my talent to build a movement that I love!
