Unfortunately, because of current exams and lots of other fan things I am currently working on (mostly fan translations of Hetalia content into russian for my fan-site) I didnāt have time and energy to prepare or draw something special, but I have something to say.
Hetalia just turned 20 years old today! What a wonderful day. Itās so strange to think how fast time flies, but at the same time itās so nice to look back and see how many live moments I went through together with all those characters and Himaruyaās art.
As I can tell itās already whole 9 years since I discovered Hetalia for the first time and fell in love with it. Many bad things happen in my life and many good things happen as well, but all this time Hetalia always was my source of inspiration and comfort. It helped me through hard times of my life even when I thought I was ready to give up, it helped me to continue living and moving forward.
Itās wonderful how a comedy manga made by one man managed to become such meaningful thing for me and, I believe, lots of other fans.
I believe that those 9 years are not just a small part of my live, but most of my conscious life. I believe that if I didnāt join this fandom or discover Hetalia at all I might not learn all those things I learned because it made me inspired to try cosplay and drawing more seriously. I can thank Hetalia for learning how to sew, knit, draw, making lots of different things and learning languages. I believe Hetalia made me a person I am now. After all for all it all started when I was still at school and for all this years I graduated from school and from college and now I am at the university!

I feel like nothing changes throughout this years, but at the same time I made such long way š¤§
And thatās my room in 2018š„ŗ so strange to see just few posters and drawings occupying just one wall
And thatās my room now!!
Now I barely have any space for new posters, haha
I have few fan projects I am going to work even harder and promote this year and I dream of making even more fan projects in future all for the love for Hetalia!
I am really happy that life let me discover Hetalia and I hope I continue moving forward with it in my life for lots and lots of years!
And I also hope that more people discover it for themselves and find same comfort and joy in it as I did and there will be even more happy moments in the future!

Not sure when I finish this patch, but this time I tried to mess with graphics a bit. For some reason itās so cute to see it in russian.
Trying to keep sanity with help of Hetalia.
We had to do one studying project and design shoe collection. First of all my main studies are not about shoes at all and I never had skills of designing themā¦all this made me quite nervous and sad so I thought to continue my tradition sneaking Hetalia into my projects and just draw few fast sketches to calm down.
Donāt judge them too strictly, they were drawn really quickly.
I was convinced to try writing one fanfic I was thinking about since college days.
Probably I wonāt post it anywhere, but at least I can share random sketch based on it. Originally Ivan and Feliciano are humans in that story, but I thought it would be silly in a good way to reference one random detective book, I read long time ago and remembered recently, just because I want to challenge my self in writing somewhat detective story too.
Actually I wanted to try sharing one fanfic I already wroteā¦but even though I already posted it in Russian I am a bit lazy when it comes to translating it into English. Apparently translating something like this from Russian into English is hard than the opposite especially with my awful writing style and I donāt want to use AI for such task because it feels unfairā¦but maybe one day Iāll translate it and share

Main detail is so long that had to use whole living room floor in order to properly pin it and cut out (and I know that some details placed wrongly, but I bought this cloth secondhand so I donāt know where I can get more and I stuck with this piece that barely fits all this details)
By the way, can you guess which costume it is this time? Apart from character since this never changes in my cosplays (Level: hard, probably)

Suddenly found this. Two dvd discs of Hetalia with dub in russian (not an official as I understand and there is only one voice actor). Ancient artefact.
Even if this is not an official item itās still cool to have it in my collection. I never heard this dub before actually and never saw any russian dvdās of Hetalia
I kinda want to buy portable dvd player somedayā¦even if this is a bit silly in 2026 when everything most likely is in easy access on the internet or can be downloaded on the phone or computer

I was translating Hetalia content into Russian as usual and saw that originally Feliciano was hiding in the box of oranges.
I already had a joke that Feliciano with his cuteness, friendliness and even with his hair colour (a bit) reminds me of Cheburashka. End this detail was like a cherry on top so I had to draw it!
I want to draw more of these to try printing them as stickers or maybe small postcards. This style reminds me of old New Year's postcards

There are few possible errors that I can think of.
1) First of all I recommend to change region to Japan because without this it wouldnāt work anyway and it also will be somewhat easier to understand error messages if there still will be any since they too should be written in Japanese (because otherwise computer turns all Japanese into unicode/this strange symbols and unable to communicate with program or something like that since game is in Japanese originally and as I know was made with Japanese VN engine)
You can find more detailed instructions on this in the "guide" file inside the game folder or on the same google drive or on the internet. Making this is just a little bit time consuming, but totally fine and save and wonāt change your computerās language to be fully Japanese it just makes computer to be able to recognise Japanese symbols so donāt worry!
2) If just changing the region didnāt help and you happened to use Windows 11. It is possible that at some point while downloading/unpacking the game folder your computer deleted folders with gameās assets from the game folder (for some reason, I donāt know why Win11 does this) which leads to an error "start screen is not found" or something like this.
You can look for this folders
If they are empty or you canās find them, try going back to the google drive and downloading the "Win11" folder and unpacking itās contents to the game folder
For some reason when I tested it, it worked this way and didnāt delete anything (ć»ć»?) so I am really not sure what kind of logic Win11 uses with all this identical files

Hmmā¦I am not really sure what can it be. I tried decoders to decode this error message, but it gave no result.
In my attempts to recreate this error message the clothes thing I got is this
To get it I checked this parameter in region changing window (sorry, itās in Russian, but it says that it turns on usage of UTF-8, as far as I understood old programs donāt really understand this type of code or something). So for now I can only suggest to check if you have this or similar thing turned onš«

I GOT IT!
Basically, if you want to play this translation, all you have to is go to Control Panel > Change Date, Time, or Number Formats > Administrative > Change System Locale
Then, change it to Japanese and make sure UTF-8 is off!
