Shelter 39 AU (basically Apocalypse AU (?))

Hetalia fans, we all saw the last page of the manga. Yes, knowing me, you can guess which Romano immediately catched my attention and made me fall in love with it. Yes I had to immediately try to think what the fuck is going on in his dimension (also an excuse to draw him tehe~)

And so, friend and I came up with a small zombie apocalypse AU!! ✨ Under is some general info that we have so far in case anyone wanna read it, and feel free to ask whatever~

In a really summarized way to explain these two pages; Shelter 39 is the place that Lovino (South Italy) co-leads with Antonio (Spain), there are a couple people, not a lot but neither too little (between those of course Feliciano (North Italy), Annika (friendo's Russia) (Also these two are a couple), and probably others, but those are really stablished for now). Figure this as your classic zombie infection world, everyone is hidden in shelters underground to protect from those and other elements in nature that have changed. Fewget on the surface at night time to look for specific supplies but they got most things underground.

Now for what exaclty happened to our main characters: One day, realize they are short on some stuff, so they have to risk going up and outside from the shelter… Originally were just Lovi and Toni going, but Feli and Annika want to tag along to get new seeds and soil for the greenhouse of the shelter, everyone is prepared… Everything going alright for the most part. At least, until chaos unfolds.

A hoard is suddenly over them and start to try to attack as they look for a way to escape. Lovino is at one point slash on the face by one zombie, almost bitten but Feli manage to slam it off with his shovel… But in that action, themselves get grabbed and Lovi, being disoriented by the wound, can't reach them on time before they get bit and rip part of neck. Toni and Annika separated from them and can just hear Lovino scream when Feli gets now part of their face ripped as well before he can get the zombies off his brother, as he also yells that they need to retreat, filled with adrenaline, not even taking a second glance at Feli as he cover and carry them away…

So they look at the damage all together once they are away. Feli is of course agonizing; because of severe and place of the wounds, they can't anything to save them, and just try to comfort them as they pass… But they won't leave them behind; They take dead Feli back to the shelter. Eventually they, of course, come back as a zombie from the infection, though no one has the heart to actually kill them… instead, is locked away.

Eventually, they start to notice that flowers make them stay calm (?). They start to surround their are with many of them, and now Feli is so docile that they can even get close enough to place him a gag and bandage their body. Give them more of an excuse to not kill them… and, maybe, this is a path to help find a cure.
