3 years later....

i recently got a switch and had to get tomodachi life and had to bring my babies back. plus me and my bf, of course.

jesus christ its been months since ive been on. honestly thinking about a fresh start once i get my sunroom and computer set up(im using my partners laptop at the moment, mostly to play TTR)

but speaking of sunrooms, i’ll put a life update for those who are nosey like meeee

we are officially moved in to our new home! it doesn’t feel real that we actually own a house with absolutely no mortgage or rent or anything. we recently redid the kiddos rooms because when we bought the house there were huge holes in the drywall, no flooring at all, and the windows were boarded up. but now you’d never be able to tell. they love it, by the way. we have a third room that needs the same treatment but it’s currently being used for storage so it’ll be a minute. In the meantime we’re about to start tackling other projects such as clearing out the sunroom, which is gonna be my own personal space. the place still needs a TON of work but it’s ours so i’m not complaining too much. the actual process of moving was the absolute WORST though and i will never be doing that again. this is my house and i will live and die here haha

  the kpop friend i mentioned what feels like MONTHS ago is now actually one of my closest friends! we talk every day and send each other tiktoks and feed into our delusional selves haha i asked the universe for a friend to help get me into stray kids and BOY did it deliver. but that’s okay because i returned the favor by getting her into TXT. its so nice because i’ve honestly never had a friendship like the one we have.

speaking of TXT, i got to see them again May 20th and PHEWWWWWWWW amazing, jaw dropping, spectualar. i love them SO SO much. i ended up taking my other close friend who knows nothing about kpop with me and she had fun too. i like to think she secretly listens to them now. 

also, my oldest baby starts pre-k in the fall and im not ready! i tell him all the time to stop getting bigger and he always tells me  he has to grow up and it makes me sad. i want him to be my baby forever. hes FOUR and i think thats old enough. 

anyways im done rambling. once we get everything set up i wanna get back into sims(4, specifically) and maybe back on here. like i said earlier, im thinking about creating a new account and starting fresh so we’ll see.

despite telling everyone i’m okay with not being able to get yoongi tickets, i am very very frustrated. this is first time since 2019 i’ve dealt with ticketmaster, but i’ve seen just how money hungry they are through other fans over the years. and i can tell you this will be the last time i deal with them. idc who i miss out on. they can take their “platinum tickets” and shove it where the sun don’t shine. And Hybe can, too, because they are the ones who opted in for it(assuming TM is telling the truth when they say it’s up to the artists on whether or not they use it)

ANYWAYS to balance out the negativity, here are some wonderful things happening in the next few months:

1. I’m going to see TXT again in May!!!!! (god bless Georgia for not using TM)

2. We will be closing on our very first house this month!!! It’s bigger than what we’re in now and we’re paying cash so no rent or mortgage or anything like that!! I am over the moon and cannot wait.

3. Not that big of a deal, but we got better internet recently and it’s so much better than who we were using! Now we can use the internet when it’s cloudy and raining and in the evenings without it being dialup speeds. :)

what drives me mad is the thought that pentagon were actively trying for a comeback and to work as a group, but in hui’s words, they have never been rejected more and he did not know how to work around that invisible wall. maybe, in a way, boys planet is useful for something and that is that people are looking at pentagon, either in outrage in regards to hui’s seniority on this stupid show or for the first time in their life, and what do you know, maybe they will discover a group they will love, too. but on the other hand, it is infuriating and frustrating that hui and the group feel like their hands are tied, and cube entertainment is just stringing them along for the ride. having them perform here, there, everywhere, in europe and at incredibly sought after award shows, but actively pushing their career? nothing. cube absolutely did cancel the comeback jinho and hyunggu had been talking about already back in august; there’s no way they didn’t. when instead, hui should have returned to the group with the comeback already in motion. but in actuality cube doesn’t care about pentagon and they’re actively sabotaging their entire existence. it is hysterical. at this point, i don’t know whether to laugh or cry about it all.
