despite the fact that she seemed shy, she’d always been KIND and finn admired that. “ yeah, no problem, “ he mused, another grin working it’s way onto his features. he’d never been an artistic or very — coordinated person, so she did much better of a job than he could’ve done, and maybe he thought she ought to be told that. “ — hey, you did good. sure the dudes with the tools but it together, but if you hadn’t painted them ; they wouldn’t have anything to put together, eh ? “ he took a seat at the foot of the stage , long legs dangling over it. “ — nah, you’re good. his kindness does mean a lot; finn’s leadership position within the glee club made any praise especially meaningful, even she isn’t the best at taking compliments. liz smiles genuinely, hoping her appreciativeness comes through. “just my own contribution. i’m really not much of an actor, but ... wanted to still help out if i could.” she shrugs her shoulders, moving some paintbrushes aside so he has more room to sit. it seemed like glee club participation in the school musicals was sort of obligatory, as almost all new directions members did, so long as they didn’t have a legitimate reason not to. she could definitely lend a hand with the sets, but her participation as an actress would surely be more of a detriment than an asset. “well, if they show up, i’ll get out of your hair, i promise,” she assures him, demeanor a little more warm and comfortable now that she’s gotten over the initial nerves of fearing she’s encroaching on his space. “working on something for this week’s glee assignment?”
