WHAT A POWER MOVE
hadal ‘love language’ robe
Embroidered onto the sleeve is an Arabic love poem by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. It reads: قالوا: تموت بها حبـاًً، فقلـت لهـم ألا اذكروها علـى قبـري فتحيينـي English translation: They asked “Do you love her to death?” I said “Speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life.” All proceeds from Hadal’s ‘Love Language’ pieces will be donated to Palestinian aid organisations.

the only interesting things happening on this hellsite are all the new and creative ways staff have managed to break this app
Iceland is fucking bizarre my name change made the news
Like just @ me at this point I’m literally the only person in iceland (and very possibly the world) who has the first name Lauf
(Article title reads “Lauf and Birningur in group of new names in the name register”)
No one lives here so now two of our biggest news outlets are vagueing about me lmao
kinda embarrassing story but i was a hair away from moving to iceland a couple years ago and i made a throwaway reddit account where i asked r/iceland abt the dating scene and jokingly mentioned being nervous abt it bc ive heard, comparatively to the US, ppl are much more nonchalant and upfront abt sex on the first date to the point where it was really intimidating to me i didnt get any real responses, mostly just contempt, and then in a few days someone commented on my post that it had actually been mentioned in some local icelandic clickbait news site that had some kind of title like “american virgin so scared of slutty icelanders that they will lock themself in their room forever”
via peopleiveloved
Not even kidding I’m so grateful for everything that I have rn but I’m really praying for more connections, more joy, more happiness, more love, more people, more energy, more life in the years to come and I know I will be receiving all of that + more

I just want to say thanks for saving my ass back there. Shit, you saved your own ass, man. I mean, that was a real Ozzy move you pulled back there.
When the effing conservatives talk about the 1950s and 60s they don’t mention high union membership.
