Some Team Gai, Maito Gai, Tenten, Neji, and/or Lee episodes! Under the cut, in case I add any later! 

Key: 

When I say “focus,” I just mean which of them is relevant in the episode, not that they’re the main character of that episode. This is broadly a list of episodes where their characters appear.

When there’s an “&” that means the episode has moments of the bond between said characters. Sometimes when it’s just the general bond of the team I’ll just put “Team Gai” instead.

If there’s an asterisk (*) it’s one of my faves.

Boruto AU where Neji Lives

I really loved the China Tower from Beyblade Season 1. Like, it's a naturally formed rock tower/mountain that they just...hollowed out?? And attached stadiums??? (and is possibly located in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, or at least is clearly inspired by it). It's just so cool!

I love that the first season took place in the 'real world' with actual landmarks and we got to see the boys in the process of travelling by bus, plane, train and boat (as opposed to, say, each episode putting them immediately in the next stadium with all the travel happening off-screen). I got so excited when the Bladebreakers went to London and Paris because I had actually been to those places myself; Big Ben, the Colosseum, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre (and totally not salty that they never went to Ireland haha what)

V-Force and G-Rev never quite captured that 'travelling slice-of-life' feel that Season 1 had, for me at least. Maybe it's because they were younger, and because this was before being defending Champions and the added stress of winning took some of the fun out of the experience for them (except for Kai he was always like that lol). I don't know how much is specific to the English dub, but remember how Rei wanted to see the White Cliffs of Dover? and how excited Tyson was to arrive in Moscow? and when they all took a day off to just wander around Paris? and watching scary movies on the Chunnel train? and how they hitchhiked across Italy on the back of a pickup truck?(and helped the driver unload his boxes in exchange). It was a Gap Year with Beyblading!

I like to imagine that sometime after G-Rev the boys go on a trip together again, just them, like Season 1. Maybe check out some new places and re-visit old ones. Maybe for another Championship, or maybe just for exhibition matches or a publicity tour so there's less stress. Or maybe even just a fun holiday so that they can reconnect after the strain G-Rev put on their relationships. Idk. Just a thought.

(Speaking of the Louvre, it still makes me laugh that Oliver rented the whole museum/gallery for himself. How much would that even cost, how rich are these kids.

EDIT: I just googled 'how much does it cost to rent the Louvre' and got this; a private tour for less than 50 guests costs up to $11,700, according to the Louvre's private events brochure, and renting out the reception hall beneath the famous Glass Pyramid will cost upwards of $36,000.

That is....actually less than I thought it would be!)

MayBlade blog launch!

Since many people seemed to be interested, I announce a new online Beyblade fan event - MayBlade ^_^

MayBlade is an alternative to BeyArMaMo which last took place in 2018. The idea is simple - make Beyblade-related content during May 2022. Optional prompt list will be published later in April - if you have specific ideas for prompts you’d like to be included feel free to message this blog, or me on my personal blog (@hiwataris-bitch). I’m also open for any questions and suggestions. The blog still doesn’t look its best, but don’t worry, I am in progress of fixing it!

I’m super excited to organise this event and I hope to see many fanarts and other works from our amazing community!

For everybody who are searching for the Beyblade manga - these scans are old and low quality, but they should be complete. I saved the scans back in 2008 from a website called Kai’sBeySharks. It doesn’t exist anymore (to my knowledge), but the scans all have its url on them.

Folders in the rar file are called “Tom 1″ etc. which just means “Volume 1″ in Polish. I’m too lazy to change everything and compress it again tbh. Anyway, I hope it helps at least a little bit all the people searching for the original Beyblade manga!

I was going through the chapters and, unfortunately, volume 13 chapter 1’s first few pages are still missing. So I might have to buy the volume (which I can’t at the moment)

I grabbed the trial reading pages from Booklive that fills up the gap a bit and translated them from Japanese to English. It leaves only a couple more pages (including the conclusion of this fight)

I’ll share them below the cut.

between the death of his mother at six months old, the abandonment of his father and brother, and the unknown circumstance of his grandmother, it becomes questionable as to if Tyson is truly free of anxiety due to seperation.

In just the kanon three seasons as well as the manga, it is shown how often he has been betrayed, abandoned and separated from the ones he loves. 

His family consists of his late mother, father who works abroad, his brother, his grandfather and his unknown grandmother.

(Hitoshi) Hiro spends his time abroad with his father, while his grandfather gives his attention elsewhere.

Over the story, many of his friends or allies are antagonized.

In season 1: Ray, Kai

Season 2: Kane, Wyatt (Was a protagonist), Zeo

Season 3: Ray, Max, Kai, Hiro, Kai again

Manga: Kenny, Kai

This general trend has been a weight on (Takao) Tyson’s shoulders that has just been building since the beginning of the series. This is why he distances himself so frequently:
