I can’t stop thinking about how “ABBA but shredding” is apparently just Queen, which is the best news ever tbh.

no but what’s so great about this is the guy isn’t playing extra licks over the top of the track, which is what I was expecting. no he’s just playing the instrumentation on the track and showing how clever and well-arranged it already was. ABBA is fuckin good, fite me (and so is this guy)

Would you be interested in collabbing with other music artists given the chance? If so, who? Also, love your stuff!!! I've had Curiousity and the Cat on loop since it came out.

Absolutely! I'd love to, the best part of making music is getting to share it with other people. Getting to share the creative process too would be like an entire league better.

Off the top of my head? Gotta say I'd love to work with Florence Welch from Florence + The Machine would be a dream come true to be able to work with. Hozier would be great too, the vocal talent from both of them is off the charts. I swear, it sends shivers down my spine. And honestly, just for fun I'd be down to work with Tom Cardy too. His musical comedy is absolutely hilarious, I love it. Hot Shit is one of my favourites.

what would you say is your favorite song you've worked on?

Hi there!! Thank you so much, it makes me so happy to hear that.

As for my favourite song, oh man. You know, I've been asked that plenty of times and it still never gets easier to answer. There's so much work and love that goes into the process of making each one, it's difficult to choose what I prefer since each experience was its own unique thing, you know?

So whenever this sort of question comes up, I like to give a different answer each time. I've mentioned my love for Overshadowed and Stellar Nursery in previous interviews, so this time I wanna talk about Lunar Lover.

To those of you who are unaware, Lunar Lover is an album dedicated to my wonderful partner. For the past several years, his unwavering support and love has been a huge inspiration for me. My world sings when he's around and I feel so so grateful to be able to return the favour in this way. Of the songs on the album, I'd have to say Waxing Poet and Moon Rover are the ones I'm most proud of, though overall putting the entire thing together was probably the most fun I've ever had. I spent the entire time just so excited to finally show him the final product <3
