//I still love Michael as I always have. I still love all my characters as I always have. The problem is that… Tumblr RP has just kind of died for me.

//I still reply to some threads, but half the time I feel like it’s a chore. I’m excited to answer them, but then I get there and it’s just… Nothing. I wait on the page for like, 40 mins until I can get something out, and even then it’s rushed, and not my best work. And then I feel sucky, because I WANT to provide my RP partners and friends with the best of replies, not only to strengthen my own writing ability, but to give them something exciting to answer!

//I think I’ve just become too clogged with this place. I’ve made SO many blogs for SO many characters that it’s overwhelming, and I don’t even use them. And then, on the flip side, there’s so many MORE characters I want to play, too. I’m just too indecisive, and my current roster, though beloved, has become stale.

//I miss when it was just 3-4. It was so much easier, and simpler, then. This isn’t a goodbye, just a ponder. I don’t know what to do, but I’m really tired of depriving everyone of content due to my lack of motivation.

Little Hikari slid down into the daycare after hours. She had no where else to go. She was alone and scared, but heard the daycare was a good place to stay in the scary and dark pizzaplex.

She held her tattered bunny doll tight in her arms as she landed in the ball pit. When she waded out of it, she thought she saw something peculiar. A man with a sun for a head? She looked confused and even more nervous.

She gulped and tried to get their attention. “Hewwo? Can you hewp me? Hikari scawed.” She whimpered and trembled slightly. She hoped this person wasn’t like the others she’s met so far. Mean, scary, and wanting to hurt her. She hoped she finally found someone who was nice.

The attendant is always pleasantly aware when a child has entered his daycare. Tonight, he found himself cooped up in his room, coloring a broken area of the wall with crayons to try and make it match, ‘fixing’ it, when he heard the ballpit sound off, welcoming a new guest.

It’s not unusual for someone to wander in here passed visiting hours. It happens quite often, actually, as the Pizzaplex security isn’t exactly the tightest. Especially in recent times, most likely thanks to their unwanted friends.That being said, the attendant was quick to join the child in the daycare, wearing his smile brightly, noting her fear.

“Wow’wow’wow!!” He announced himself, opening his arms wide as a greeting, slinking his knees far apart to meet her height. This girl can’t be older than 7, can she? “Friends aren’t supposed to be here this late! Why are you scared, sweetsies? Got lost?” This was as exciting as it was nerve wracking.

It was the worst possible thing that could happen… Some of the more intolerant locals had both found out Oliver’s secret and where to find his home. With little to no time he grabbed Vincent and rushed out of the cabin. The shouts were growing louder, even as they made it into the forest. He had to slow them down or…

Reluctantly, he set Vincent down, making sure he still had the amulet he’d just finished making, and was just about to turn back to the mob when the disguised naga grabbed his leg, “Ollie!”

He shook his head, trying to pry the boy off, “Vincent, no! Just run, run and hide! I’ll come find you later, I promise, just go!”

“But-”

“NOW!”

Sniffling, he did as he was told and fled, running as fast as he could. Upon spotting a cave, he quickly changed course, slipping on the forest floor, and rushed for it. However, not long after venturing inside, Vinny managed to fall down a hole he hadn’t noticed.

Crying out, he covered his eyes and waited, feeling an odd tilt for a few moments before he suddenly crashed into something that was both soft and hard with a loud clatter.

Not thinking too hard, and surrounded by far too many strange scents and noises, he started to dig himself further into the pit of multi-colored balls he found himself in, trying to hide like Oliver had told him to.

On the flip side, things were so much calmer. It was barely an hour after all the children had already left, leaving the animatronic, and only the animatronic, to clean up. The Daycare’s hours tend to be earlier than the rest of the buildings, so the Attendant gets lots of time off work. All to himself. All day. In fact, he wasn’t even done cleaning up, currently working on the clay and crayons and glue currently stuck to the floor and tables- but there’s not much you can do to scrape clay out of thin carpet.

Sun was happily humming to himself, lightly bouncing from left to right as he sprayed down the carpet before running a plastic knife sideways through it, watching the gross, mucky build up slosh about. He, however, was disrupted, hearing a loud crash and clatter somewhere behind him. Eyes shined red as he twisted around, scanning the area for an intruder.

Continuing to hear the burrowing, the jester hopped to his feet, beginning to take large, exaggerated steps over to the play area, a hand cupping one side of his mouth- “Uh, hel-LOOO! We are CLOSED! No no playtime anymore!!” Perhaps one of them was asleep during the first roundup?…

Vinny flinched at the loud voice and tried to dig deeper but he’d already reached the bottom, his hands scratched uselessly against the mats.

Whimpering softly, he grasped his amulet to make sure it was still on and quickly tucked it into his tunic as an extra safety measure. He can’t be discovered… They can’t know what he was… It was better to be thought of as a lost elf child than a naga.

Practically holding his breath as he heard the loud person getting closer, Vinny crawled along the bottom as quietly as possible, hoping he would find a better hiding place soon.

Sun was growing increasingly impatient, waiting to see his new friend emerge. He knows this routine- the ballpit makes for an excellent cover. Unfortunately for the naga, it makes for excellent cover against human employees. The attendant knows better.

He almost shouted- that was, before he heard the whimpering. Tilting his head, Sunny stepped foot into the pit, beginning to kick them up as he walked. “I am not going to get you in trouble!! Not if you come ooouuut~! I only want to HELP! Don’t be SCARED-!” The attendant came off a little more intimidating than he intended to. Too bad he doesn’t know how to be... Not... That...

Big, scary place.

A small, teeny weeny girl was held in the arms of her momma, the child burying her face in her shoulder for most of the trip. The Pizzaplex was a big and scary place— there’s more people in one lobby of a single attraction than there used to be in her town! Not to add the bright lights everywhere and the music— the poor 4 years old was overwhelmed, to say the least.

Meanwhile, Veronica provided comforting rubs for her daughter as she approached the big, impressive looking exterior of the daycare — she knew her daughter wasn’t a big fan of this idea, but she couldn’t find a kindergarten that would be accepting new kids at this time of year, her and Jonah had to go to work, and Thomas was in 3rd grade— there was simply no one to watch young Susan at this time.

So the next best option would be this, right?

“Mama, do I gotta? I wanna stay with you..”

“I know honeybun, but mommy’s gonna be busy all day. Tommy will come to pick you up as soon as he can, okay? And hey, maybe you’ll have a good time! Who knows..”

The positive outlook was met with a grumpy whine, Susan tightening her little hold on her mother as the two made their way through the daycare’s door.

There it is. He found it- The point of interest. Essential to any and all child care! With a cheerful, childish giggle, the attendant skipped to the closest chair, sitting the girl down. “Toys toys toys!! What kind of toys do YOU like, Susan? We have STUFFIES and TINY CARS and SECURITY BLANKETS and FIGURES! Used to have Nerf guns, but MANAGEMENT SAID NOOOO...” In the air did he shake his hands, swaggling his head back and forth with a sarcastic and exaggerated tone. Though focusing on her right now, Sun still kept a good eye on the rest of the children, spotting one or two ‘issues’ to deal with after he’s properly welcomed the little one.

Bending his knees to limbo close to her height, the sun put both hands on the floor and leaned to the side. “It’s almost time for snowflakes!! We’ll get a toy for you, aaand theeeen we’ll all go cut things up!! What do ya saaaAAAYYY~?!” With a light poke to her tummy, he shimmed excitedly, waiting for her enthusiasm to match.
