I remember our immediate inseparability, our chemistry, our soulful connection. Your “twin flame”, as you’d refer to me. Between the laughs and the lows of life, we fell in love hard and fast. We used to spend countless hours talking about nonsensical things. But lately, it has all revolved around the same darkness casting different shadows.

I can’t remember the exact moment when everything changed, but I know our eagerness to connect has turned into a painful disconnect that neither of us is willing to accept.
