Hello ~

It's been a while. Just wanted to drop by and say that I'm officially moving to a new account. It'll be my main and my art blog with a far better tagging system (because I'm actually going to take tumblr seriously now!!) I DID NOT EXPECT THIS?? I feel so loved. And I can see the sunflowers. Thank you for the sunflowers, they make me blush. At the time of writing, I’m not having the greatest night but it too shall pass (or at least I hope it will). 

1. Golden morning or peachy sunsets?

Peachy sunsets!! I am physically unable to wake at early hours, my body clock is ruined beyond the point of no return. As such, I rarely see the sun rise. Peachy sunsets, to me, is far more pleasurable to the eye because it’s no longer the bright, annoying, blob of yellow, my entire being avoids. It has more depth and it “provides much scope for the imagination”  and I love it that way.

4. How long do you lay in bed before you finally get up?

Depends on my schedule for the day, but it is a daily necessity. On weekdays, I probably spend a hour in the morning scrolling through news and social media, or procrastinating a reading, if I haven’t decided to fuck it, (which has been my constant thus far). On weekends, I spend longer hours lying in bed, (2-3 hours tops) because anxious and sad thoughts consume my psyche and I can’t handle them so I just, stay there, in silence, until I become hungry enough to eat. It’s neither ideal nor positive but honest to god it’s how I feel. 

5. Is there a food you've never had but always wanted to try?

Yes!! Flowers !! I’ve been meaning to try them, because they’re pretty and I only eat pretty things 🤣. Aside from that, I’d also love to try French (and Russian too, with reservations) delicacies!! I want to go around Paris for a day, buy from patisseries or boulangeries and try everything!! From eclairs to macarons to croquembouches to tarte tatin to madeleines--you get what I mean. 

7. Do you listen to ASMR?

I do not. I don’t find them relaxing at all. ASMR, (depending on what is being used to create sounds) just seems so wasteful to me. Slime ASMR, destroying make-up ASMR, mukbang ASMR, I can’t with them all. Frankly, it sounds disgusting, and resources are being used to make videos or audio with no real purpose to them, and to add fuel to the fire, where does it all go once it has served its purpose? That’s my take on it anyway. 

I do enjoy listening to sounds, don’t get me wrong, specifically nature sounds: water rushing, waves clashing, fire blazing, the wind blowing, I really find those enjoyable, these sounds brings me to wonderful places in the comfort of my bed. 

8. Rain storms or a light drizzle?

Rain storms! Powerful, turbulent, spontaneous. Rain storms are fiery just as they are tranquil. And it always reflects my state of self.

10. Favorite color aesthetic

Primaries! The OG colors. Red, blue, and yellow in every shade and tint, from dark to pastel! They are very retro, very defined and charismatic, an automatic statement piece. Pops of color makes the world a more interesting place.

39. What's your favorite random piece of decor in your house and room?

We have this long square glass thing with light underneath displayed inside our divider, and I just like the way the light moves inside it. I found a something similar when we went to KR but this time it had a flower inside it and it was so, so, pretty, but we didn't have enough money left to purchase it. For my room decor, I became an aesthetic bitch for a day and utilized a wine bottle (we have a lot) and the dried flowers I've saved during my HS graduation and 18th birthday!! Another would be the corkboards I decorated with art I got from conventions.

40. Do you bite your fingernails off or clip them more often?

I used to bite my fingernails off, but it would feel so disgusting and weird when I scratched my body to temporarily alleviate an itch, so I'd follow up with cutting off the ends of my nails. I still bite them time to time, but will immediately cut them off once I realize they're long enough to bite.

41. Any birthmarks?

Yes! I have one on my thigh that kind of resembles an insect?? And another one on the left of my neck that looks like a hickey, which people tease me about.

43. First video game you ever played?

This is hard. Console-wise, the first game I played was Grand Turismo because it came bundled with the PS4 my father bought during one of his trips. But as a kid, it was probably Fire-boy and Water-girl on Addicting Games OR Sara's Spa (I believe??) on Y8. Also: GTA or Crash Bandicoot on my uncle's PSP.

5: Is there a food you’ve never had but always wanted to try?

Hmm...I've always been interested about Greek foods just bc of the aesthetic. I don't know what they are called, I just love the aesthetic HAHAHAHAHAHA. Idk, I'm not that curious about food. I just eat whatever's edible. If I'd be daring, I'll go for Japanese blowfish lmao.

Tbh...this sounds bad but I love rain storms. Light drizzles kinda sound like a pussy. Like...just give me more. On a serious note, I love the turbulence and the chaotic beauty storms have...but that would also be bad to wish for it bc a lot of our countrymen suffer greatly from storms. (But if I have something really important to do, by all means give me a light drizzle. I'm just an aesthetic bitch please ignore me).

16: What’s a language you’d like to speak?

I'd say French bc it sounds really pretty and gorgeous. And if there are real aliens out there, maybe some alien language so I can finally get out of this world

OMYGOD YES, THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! First off I like intricate traditional art. Soft lookinh, little color, whatever, just a complete and detailed traditional art. Detailed digital art are fine. I'm just prejudiced against minimalist ones bc...where's the effort in it? I need to SEE. This is the problem I have with abstract art, especially pieces that are similar to Pollack's. Mindlessly spray some paint over a canvas and say it's art? Get Out.

9: What’s a little thing in life that you love? 

There's a lot I love about life. Like at this point, I can't believe I still love life so much. But what first comes to my mind is that with life, there's endless possibilities. There's more tomorrows. More next years. More next times. The beauty in having no accurate knowledge about the future is that life grants us adventure to figure things out on our own. Make our own path. Fight when we fall. And get up back on our feet as we heal. I think that's what makes me love life again and again even if I most of the time, I just want to give up.

17: What’s your favorite season and favorite month in that season?

There's only two seasons in where I live and while I'm still in uni, I'll say my favorite is summer. I love that I have no unstructured time. I'm free to study and do whatever I want. I'm free to do all hobbies. I'm just...so free. And of course, my favorite month in that season is April bc that's my birthmonth. Aye, I'm kind of a vain bitch (I just love that my birthmonth is in summer y'kno? I've spent 16 years of my life enjoying my bday to the max without worrying about anything school-related).

Anyway, if I'll be given the chance to live in another country that has 4 seasons, then autumn is gonna be my favorite (along with summer, fight me). The aesthetic of it just feels so ethereal. For the month, I like October bc that's Halloween season and I just love how fantasy and spooky tales circulate the media around that time. It's the season when the best stories really come out. That's all. I can't say much bc I've never experienced it yet.

46: Thoughts on spring? 

I haven't experienced spring yet so I guess it's cold? Metaphorically, I think about it as new beginnings, fresh starts, and a new perspective to take on life. The cold still lingers but the hope of something warmer is almost there and I just think it's wonderful.

Luka Couffaine has the ultimate Poker Face

As extremely distracting Marinette’s fixation on Adrien is, it’s super easy to miss the smaller details.

Like how Luka himself doesn’t volunteer to be Jagged’s guitarist.

And the look Luka gives Marinette when she declares that “Luka can lend Adrien his guitar!”

He doesn’t look upset whatsoever, just bewildered at the entire situation. Then he just smiles and hands off his guitar. This looks to me that the boy was not at ALL thrilled at the idea of working with Jagged Stone, his actual FAVOURITE singer, after watching his mother get into a heated argument with the man over their shared past that was unknown to him prior to literally just a few seconds ago.

Sure, we as the audience and all of Marinette’s friends (sans Adrien) are aware that Marinette was really pushing Adrien out of favouritism. But from Luka’s perspective, it probably seemed to him that Marinette was deliberately dodging the idea of volunteering him without his clear consent, and thought that was pretty cool of her.

And not only that, remember when Kagami put Marinette on the spot and asked if she was watching “her boyfriend rehearse?”

No reaction from Luka. Just a plain, neutral expression. And Desperada (311 in production order) came not too long after Silencer (307), where he had explictly confessed his feelings to Marinette.

When Luka made his declaration to her, he simply walked away to go perform with his friends. He didn’t expect an answer from Marinette right away, as he’s already aware of her crush on Adrien after Frozer.

Luka is simply waiting for Marinette to work her feelings out for herself, and remains calm, cool and collected.

We also have seen how he interacts with his little sister, who has severe anxiety and is known to have panic attacks, so he must have experience with handling complicated emotions by being there for Juleka.

Luka knows how to control his body language and facial expressions to avoid reacting to what is happening in front of him, so that Juleka and Marinette don’t jump to conclusions about what he is really thinking and feel worse for it.

I think that’s very interesting characterization for him.
