THEY* look into a stained glass window, THEY* truly look into it
all those decision that have come to be to make this stain glass portrait,
THEY* peer into the ancient glass
surrounded by wreckage, decay & ruin.
and what looks back to them is a broken man.
the man with the knowledge of time no longer.
he cries to the gods of gods for why must she die.
now should THEY* dive through this glass mosaic art piece into a world that mirrors there own.
or should THEY* look back
not to the bloodshed, ash or the allies and enemy's that were traded like pawns…
to all the decisions all the hate and love and every thing in-between, inside and out.
there stands a man, THE PAWN in the runes of a battle
a battle where no blood has been drawn
he stands in a smoldering settlement, a kingdom
littered with statues of its former citizens, petrification
a truly horrifying curses.
THE PAWN was "gifted a unrelenting madness" a gift that they couldn't refuse.
a result of ascending so high,
THE PAWN saw every love every dictator, every torn heart and every string cut just to soon.
the madness told them all
however the vision was stagnant, straight, never changing no matter what deed was done
they dint know how it would ripple.
even with that knowledge he couldn't stop it.
the allies and the bystanders made a decision laced with fear
that would sew the cycle seed. the cycle of violets
the pawn crying once again picks up a there sword forged of betrayal off the ground
there unnatural eye shaped amulet glinted with the seaside pink and orange skies,
the stone on there fingers healing and receding.
a single tears falls upon a statue of the king a dear friend
THE PAWN lived in there kingdom only because the pawn knew fates string would be cut short
so he wouldn't have to see what the out side world would hold
the pawn sets out for.. one.. last.. time.
to uproot that seed before its root grows to far and to deep.
now do THEY* jump through that stained glass into a world that mirrors there own
where the madness gift was never given. a solar punk nightmare.
or look down the tree branch that there world grew from
to the intervention, the spark that starts a blaze
and the creation that thought its self high enough to make its own life.
