Who’s gonna break the news to past Catie?? I should do an updated one. Digger has been demoted to B tier. Roscoe is up on S-tier. Owen is up on S-tier. Sam is on D-tier and Evan on A-tier.

All my friends are laughing at me because Roscoe used to be my least favorite and now I won’t shut up about him and Lisa

Hi, I wanted to ask via comments, but I noticed you've restricted them. Where did you buy/how did you get such an old issue of Flash? The one with Lisa specifically. I'm looking for the first runs of Impulse and well, it's complicated 😞

Hey! So sorry about the restricted replies. I did not realize I had that switch flipped! That a has now been fixed so that shouldn't happen again! So I found Flash 250 (Lisa's debut. I assume thats what we're talking about) in a comic shop like 2 hours north of me for like five dollars. Bronze Age Flash is both easy to come by and very hard to come by at the same time. It's always a scavenger hunt to see what older issues of Flash I can find. I've got a good bit that are older than her too but that's from using my connections with friends and from working at my local comic shop. My best advice for if you really desperately want it is to turn to Ebay. Sadly but thankfully, Lisa's debut is not a key comic that many collectors view as extremely valuable. Their loss. Lisa is incredible. You could probably find one there for 3-10 bucks including shipping. I personally wouldn't pay more than 15 dollars for that book.

As for Impulse I've had a harder time finding his things too. Those niche runs are hard to track down sometimes. My shop currently only has five Impulse comics I believe. I'm also struggling because Trickster (James Jesse) shows up for a bit so I need to track down those issues. Sorry for the long winded response, but my biggest suggestion is to visit comic shops a bit farther out from your town and as a last resort Ebay. Older Flash is hard to collect. It is not for the faint of heart. I wish you the best of luck in your hunt!!

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy my favorite characters with some scruff or some kind of facial hair? Honestly loved Mick’s full beard in Rogues (2023). Him having the scruff in the previews for Flash 35 makes me so happy

Just found out that Electro from Marvel Comics’s name is Max Dillon.

Well, now I wanna write a fanfiction where Roscoe and Max are brothers. Both are pissed about the matching costume color schemes and make fun of each other’s gimmicks.

Thinking of getting into writing Marvel’s Boomerang (Fred Meyers) x reader. I don’t know if there’s an audience (me) but I need more content of him

Guys what am I supposed to do if the rumors are true and Boomerang (Fred Meyers) is only in Brand New Day for like 30 seconds and is an unnamed stunt actor. This was supposed to inadvertently green light a Superior Foes of Spiderman TV show that was gonna bully DC into doing SOMETHING with the Rogues. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW?!

Random Liscoe headcanon, just for fun:

Lisa and Roscoe get married, obvs

But then comes the decision about changing last names

Do they share a name? Does Lisa hyphenate?

Neither has good associations with their families

So, what do they do?

So confession I guess. I’ve formally never read in its entirety Flash 250 (Lisa’s debut) until today! I own it. I just don’t like reading my key comics and would rather read those online. DCUI doesn’t have that issue so I finally sucked it up and read it.

Guys. It further cemented my absolute love for her. She’s amazing. Also, this image of Roscoe on page one killed me.

Apparently this is Scott Kolins' original art to pitch Axel as a new character.

Of note: his gloves read Ha (and possibly Hee?), which were presumably rejected later in favour of his Yo gloves. I think the latter works much better to distinguish him from the Joker, emphasize his toys, and his early aughts attitude.

I adore how Scott Kolins’ original sketch didn’t change too much with Axel’s final design. There’s something just so great about his debut design. I say this knowing I adore most Axel designs to be honest.

I’ve always loved how eclectic he looked with all the conflicting patterns. It reads so much like a teenage boy picking out his clothes and not understanding how to dress himself properly.

I am a big fan of them introducing the purple into his color pallet later as a way to distinguish him more from James too. Also I do love his big purple coat (probably the version I’m gonna cosplay to be honest). But the classic design is so fun for him and is always a top contender I wish would return if he decides to return in North’s Flash

I have nothing to back up this headcanon canonically (I believe) but I think Owen likes working on cars. I think he has a motorcycle that’s his pride and joy. I don’t know. He just seems like a guy who has that type of hobby.
