i fell down a wormhole. i didn’t know what dream smp was literally 72 hours ago and i just watched a 1.5 hour dreamnotfound comp. anyway sorry but dream and george’s dynamic is actually so genuinely fucking weird. the way dream can say flirtatious things all he wants and george gets so embarrassed but george can pretty much only say stuff back with his camera off?? like is it that serious??? if it’s a joke why are you being so weird about it? and dream just fucking freaks out when george reciprocates like “what the fuck are you saying.”

sorry i just have so many thoughts bc honestly wtf. they’re just so weird about each other. george more obviously so but frankly dream seems confident but then is equally weird but in a different way when george reciprocates. i feel like it’s possible their fans are just used to it so it doesn’t seem as weird to them but as someone who just witnessed like 50% of their “moments” within 48 hours i am struck by how utterly weird they are about each other.

Something about George that I find interesting is he is completely un-vain. He knows what he looks like, he knows he has millions of fans who love how he looks, he knows a lot of those fans think they should have a say in how he looks, but that hasn’t made him approach himself any differently. My man knows Twitter would riot if he shaved his head and all of the people who liked him for his fluffy hair would turn away but he fully could not care less, he wants to experience being bald.

Twitter give him aesthetics they think he would look nice in and chastise him for wearing sweats and a hoodie all the time and what does he do? Carries on wearing them. People thinking he’s good looking is a bonus but it doesn’t seem to be something he seeks

imagine dream’s a traditional celebrity who gets interviewed consistently about his recent activities and u go up to him and ur like ‘dream why do you ship ratnotfound’ and dream is like rat is a dumb dog and i wanted to make a dumb ship as part of a joke to make george laugh but if i shipped george w another man i would get jealous and murderous and if i made up a fake woman who doesn’t exist to ship w george i would also get jealous and start girl-coding myself so the only real solution here is to ship george with a non-human entity so that we’re all laughing. hope this helps 👍

there's something so endearing about the way that george and dream play games together, especially when it's a challenge or a horror game (like fnaf yesterday) and george always starts by being a menace and just being chaotic and trying to get on dream's nerves, but the moment that he notices dream really is struggling his entire demeanor changes and he does his best to reassure and help dream. i feel like we dont see this happening often because george is like a gremlin so it's always refreshing to watch streams or videos when he gets serious but still maintains his comedic & chaotic nature

when he was watching sapnap’s vod, hbomb said that the key to sands of time is no hesitation, just make a decision and go through with it. and i think that’s why george is so good at it. he has faith in his minecraft ability and knowledge of the mechanics of sands of time, and he focuses and does what he needs to do with little hesitation. even when he’s almost dead he doesn’t stop. it’s fascinating and entertaining, even quackity sat still and watched

i miss ultra clingy dnf. calling each other out for not answering their text from only 2 hours ago. george saying he hates when dream is working on a record because he’ll go missing and dream saying he hates that george hasn’t been on teamspeak. flaunting how well they know each other and having side conversations in the middle of an 8 person jackbox lobby and bragging about their 12 hour discord calls and falling asleep together on call. i want them to be very vocally clingy again it’s insane and entertaining
