I’m 95% sure that my intern supervisor used AI to create a work plan for me because everything is so repetitive, vague, and looks ChatGPT formatted.
Like, what the hell do you mean I have to create “basic corridor maps,” a “standards comparison table,” and an “alignment memo” in my first week? What does that even mean???? I haven't even been given any materials or data for me to base this stuff on. We personally agreed that I was going to be working on an ordinance. I’m 4 days into my internship, and she has never mentioned any of these other things before. I’m only hearing about them now from the document she sent over today.
I sent her the work plan I made myself 2 days ago, asking for feedback, and she said it looked great.
Also, why does she refer to herself in the third person in the document? I guess I should have expected this. She's already told me that she generates a lot of AI images for her projects. AI sucks so much.
Pro tip: if you want to give your ego a little boost, try wearing a suit and just strut aimlessly around the house.
I had a class final last week in the form of a courtroom trial, and I got ready early. I had, like, 30 minutes to kill before I had to make my way to the courtroom, so I was just wandering from room to room in a full suit and everything. It made me feel a lot more important than I really was to all the invisible spectators in my house.
I would love to make a movie that’s not based on true story, but I start the movie with text that says “this really happened” and the movie just gets crazier and crazier and I keep adding text at various moments that says “even this” and “yeah, it’s almost unbelievable but this happened” and “here we took some minor creative liberties you’d think!” and “life is crazier than art” and by the end I don’t reveal that it was all made up.

I wish there was a recording of Coolidge playing his harmonica. Or even just a picture. But since there isn't one (as far as I know), here's my rendering of what it looked like:
I ACTUALLY HAVE TO KILL MYSELF FOR REAL WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY TOOK ALL FOUR SEASONS OF THE MAN FROM UNCLE OFF THE INTERNET ARCHIVE

Happy Pride, veiwers.

I watched Inherit the Wind (1960) the other day, and wow, was it a great legal drama. And still very relevant today with its depiction of religious fanaticism. My only complaint was the sheer amount of times the song "Give Me That Old-Time Religion" was played. And they dragged it out every time too, not just for a few seconds. Made me want to chuck the remote at the TV every time it started up again.

My favorite Twilight Zone episode ❤️
I hate when I’m writing something and I save it to drafts
and I just, can’t write like I just did before ????
You know you're down bad when you get emotional reading about the death of a political figure from over 60 years ago. And it's not even on the one you're hyperfixated on.
The quintessential newspaper movie is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month and #TCM is screening a world premiere restoration tomorrow at #TCMFF One of my must sees! Alan J. Pakula’s ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN.

What I would give to have Coolidge's dry wit.
