but ykw at least i'm not on mount everest. at least i'm not paying tens of thousands of dollars to slowly suffocate in a 300-person line at the gates of hell. never in my life will i have to be steered in a hypoxic stupor through the maze of poop and corpses atop mount everest. on this earth a lot of horrible things can happen to you without your permission but there are a few that you have to opt into. you can just say no thanks! and be guaranteed never to have to be on mount everest. much to be grateful for actually

I think it’d be really fun for Grace to show Rocky The Twilight Zone. Like Rocky gets so offended at To Serve Man that he only refers to Grace as different Eridian foods for the next two days

What I feel people frequently forget about autistic special interests is that they aren't always information based. They may simply be visual or mental

Someone may have a special interest in a show, but instead of that meaning that they will talk about that show often, it may mean they watch that show extremely frequently.

Special interests are ways of regulating, not simply encyclopedias we have in our heads. Sometimes it's watching something frequently. Maybe only listening to one genre of music, maybe it's a collection, maybe it's an action. I'm tired of it only being seen as autistic people's personal encyclopedias

Genuine question to whomever runs this blog: do you know the 1964 film Carol For Another Christmas? It was written by Rod Serling and I'm curious if anyone else knows about it.

I didn't before this ask but now I do! Christmas Carol has always struck me as a very scary and thought-provoking concept, so it's no wonder there's an adaption by Rod Serling. He actually has a pretty large filmography outside of The Twilight Zone, most of which I haven't seen, though I am trying find a way to watch Night Gallery.
