hi everyone! recently, i found myself going back to until dawn and rediscovering somethings i might've missed. in the mist of that, i suddenly got inspired to create both templates (coming soon) and a gshade preset inspired by one of my favorite games ever! pictures below the cut!

Ever since I started playing the Globetrotter challenge by @moonfi; I've been creating a collection of UI Widget style templates. This collection includes 20(ish) different templates for you to use in your gameplay screenshots. I'm hoping I did my best to make this as user-friendly as possible; but if you have any questions or notice something off - don't hesitate to message me or send an ask!

[Tips & Hints]
Open the awkwardwhims psd collection file in Photoshop, then drag & drop the folder or group of templates onto your image.
The photo album template was inspired by @folkbreeze (definitely check out their resources, they're all so nice!) & other various examples I saw online.
Resize the template by selecting the folder as a whole; resizing individual layers may makes things unaligned.
Feel free to change background colors/fonts/etc as much as you want.
The text message template has 3 styles: sender, green receiver & blue receiver. There are also reaction icons & a separate reaction bar.
For the to-do list template I didn't include every aspiration icon (I was trying to keep this file as small as possible) but you can download this pack by @deathbypufferfish that has all the aspiration icons you'll need. However, it may be missing some of the newer aspiratons.
When adding photos (album cover/recent photos/etc) use a clipping mask.
The weather template includes all the different weather icons, so be sure to hide/unhide the one that applies.
For the new transaction template, make sure to only change the number of the price otherwise the Simoleon symbol will get changed to Times New Roman.
The notification message template is for life events, bad events & default game notifications (ie: legacy player, etc).
After releasing my first collection of UI-ish templates and widgets, I found myself making more during the process of editing my posts. I'd planned on keeping this one around the same size as the previous one, but the longer it took me to properly label and organize my layers, the more I added to the file. So now we're here at like 40-ish templates (and a few even have a hidden version).

Like my previous collection, I designed this to be a "workspace" or "canvas" from which you can just pull whatever template you need. Each template is labeled and organized into folders so you'll know exactly which layers you need for your screenshot.

It’s been a while since I wanted to create a specific set inspired by this TVshow very dear to my heart, and I’m so happy to finally make it, and even more now because it comes with lovely outfits straight out of the show!
I’ve decided to focus on the kitchen as it’s the most iconic room of the show and it’s also the most versatile items that you will be able to use in your everyday builds! I’ve added a few of my favorite clutters from it like the face vase and blueish wine glasses but also the famous English trifle from Rachel! Don’t worry, it also comes with edible swatches!
I’ve managed to get the tilted counter version to snap perfectly with kitchen counters and where you can place classical appliances and sinks. It opens more possibilities for my future kitchens! But as the game always has it's own fun, you will have to delete the wall behind the tilted counter to place it perfectly. Otherwise, it will place it with an offset.
You can find the items by searching for ROOMIES or Pierisim in game.
Some items share the same textures so make sure to have the packages finishing by "texture" in your mod folder :)
Not to be extra but for some reason simstrouble and their cc finds blog won’t show up on my tumblr and I guess the reason must be that they blocked me?? Right?
I can’t see any other reason why since I can access outside of the app?
I’m heartbroken if so, nobody needs a reason to block but I’ve been supporting them for years. They’re literally the only person I patronize on Patreon. 🫠 and I’ve also never interacted with them??
ETA: I have no way to prove this but the only thing I can think of is that I posted some of their interiors, with credit, in a ts4 wcif community. Nothing but complimentary and I mentioned I had combed their cc finds blog and had no success finding the items I was after. That post is now inexplicably gone from the community as well. So the best I can determine is it was “fuck you specifically for asking the community wcifs”. Beyond that I’m bewildered and have removed my financial pledge to their Patreon. 🤷♀️
ppl got to stop worshipping, paying and defending 'big' cc creators especially when they display shitty behaviour that endangers real people. they don't give a single fuck about you, you're literally just another transaction to them. stop enabling and rewarding fucked up behaviour with your money and time~~~
